1.I have played a handful of times in person and have been on the site a couple months.
2.as town I’m observant and wait for people to slip, & ask questions
3.as scum I try to start a wagons
4. I think what gives scum away is trying a little too hard. But it’s situational, I’ve seen town try way to hard before.

I feel like I’ve taken awhile to get to this I’m on a mini vacation till Monday. I’ll try to do my catching up in the mornings or at night. Or any other times I find to hop on here

Last game I played with you, you and the other scum were mostly silent. Plus, there you said you didnt really know how to scumhunt. I'm wondering when you acquired this purported tell (can you show me?), and it also amplifies my question of why you wouldnt vote me -- a player you knows falls into the try-hard category. So sell me on town!flippy when youre off break, otherwise I might think youre cursed to always roll scum in the newbqueue

I already wondered about this last game kind of, but why not voting people who already have one vote? If we all circle vote ourselves we are basically back at start, just with everyone having one vote instead of zero. If the point of RVS is to get people talking or pressure them, then particularly the latter seems pointless to me with that mindset.

Yeah this is true. I just sometimes like to play “in” my RVS if that makes sense. Then get serious once people are talking

Same for teacher although I did like when roomy pointed out he was basically apply pressure to apply pressure for appearance. That being said I still think teacher is town

can you explain your lich read/vote in more detail? what of the stuff he's said have you particularly had a problem with?
also interesting to me that of your descriptions of your town play / scum play in #31 you are playing exactly to your self-described scum meta. in fact, you haven't asked anyone a question at all this game !

Lich stood out to me on my read thru, going back on skellen being town randomly when she’s townier than teacher doing things at random seemingly to cos confusion it doesn’t feel like he really cares where his vote is as long as he’s got one. Out of nowhere saying catstar is the scummies slot. He sticks out like a sore thumb to me

@roomy basically I was trying to say that if you were scum you’re currently doing your meta the whole point is to blend & hunt as if you’re town. So maybe it comes off scummy me coming in a late & dropping my vote on lich its whatever he’s scummy & either way isn’t helping the game progress. I’m trying to progress the game so yeah I’m starting to ask questions. I was super lazy last night so I didn’t go thru the thread I just read the current page & stayed caught up.

So I’m getting townie vibes from skellen everything they’ve said strikes me as town
I have a town lean on teacher, roomy & Person
I’m null on catstar Clem & birdy I need more from the birdy slot which is getting replaced so soon.
Clem in our last game I auto read as town and kinda get the same vibe but we’ll see how the game progresses
& have a scum lean on lich due to him constantly changing his reads, it seems like he’s trying to throw out his read in every direction trying to see what sticks with people which doesn’t seem to be working. I do think there is a small chance that he could be ubernoob town but at this point it’s just seems to me that he’s scum.

Multiple people have told you how you can change & play better as town if you are.
I suggest doing what they said. There’s enough stuff here for you to be able to read through and have more than just gut reads, you need to be able to show what you’re feeling at least partly

if you're town, you need to start reading the game and trying to figure out who town is and who scum is.

To answer your question tho, everything that’s come from skellen has been super genuine and progressive to the game from a town stand point so I’m pretty solid about her being town

@Skellen I think that’s just how I am towards Clem which is why Have him in the null/ town lean spot vs straight up saying he’s town.
I wanted to see how he continued to react on L1 with someone new suspecting him as being scum I knew I wouldn’t be quick lynching him, then if someone did that’s info right there. I had no intent to end the day yet just wanted to see if I could stir something new up in lich

Soo it’s been a little longer than 3 or 4 hours, unless you were talking about days.
