because it's an easy way to get the game started generally.

No amount of theoretical talk is going to justify calling somebody scum for self-voting in RVS. You know people mess around in RVS. You know that there's no reason for ofrhz as scum specifically to do that, and that it's a joke.

In RVS no one has any reads on anyone
So we begin threatening to lynch everyone

We see what stances people are willing to take
We see how people are trying to play the game
Who has an agenda - people tehy dont necessarily want lynched no matter what
Who has no agenda - willing to look at anyone and definitely trying to figure out what's going on

By self-voting, you refuse all town motivations in RVS
It's a sign that you already know who's who and what's what, because there is no confusion, no need to push elsewhere to garnish reads

I know you know it isn't true. The first couple wagons coming out of RVS aren't going to lead to a lynch. They almost never do.

In fact there are loads of wagons that happen every game that will not lead to a lynch, and anyone who's aware of what's actually going on knows it.

But pepole read them and use them.

Because almost everything in mafia CAN BE AI for some players at some times in some ways

it all depend son the circumstances.

Only studying the wagons that have potential to lead to a lynch is dumb, and that's the mindset you're trying to use here. You read a lot more than the wagons that lead to lynches.
