I think this was a joke but there is actually about 7 users who have made more than 30k posts. I am not too far myself actually :OIn post 99, zoraster wrote:Witness Protection comes at 30k along with a free rename.Show"You are the Joker of mafia players" - Oversoul
"last time I was scum with Firebringer
his first post in the scum PT was "yes I rolled scum!"
I decided to post "haha just don't post that in the main thread", but to get up to date on the main thread first.
His first post in the main thread was "yes I rolled scum!" -popsofctown-

To my knowledge, it was in fact a joke, but it's neat enough where I support it not being one.In post 102, Firebringer wrote:

Hm, I think that it's kind of weird for Jester to be after mafia scum to be honest, I mean, jesters go around sounding somewhat scummy and if not overdone, they probably end up lynched for it (I think Jester winrates are high as long they don't need to be lynched only in day 1 and consequently have time to set up their own lynch?).
I think it would be more thematically correct to give Jester to lower posters that are new to the site, because newbies often sound scummy and make mistakes, kind of similar to jesters in some cases. But I don't see how it would thematically be correct to put it after mafiascum, maybe I didn't get something about the title though.
By my own interpretation, "Jester" would fit more before "townie", since newbies usually first look a bit more like jesters than townies/towny, but given how no one proposed changing townie/goon positions, maybe it being after "goon" would be more acceptable if ever implemented. Just my opinion though.-

did you implement this? afaik this wasn't a rule but heavily frowned uponIn post 105, mastina wrote:We do, but we also have a rule against self-nominations for titles.
I didn't change that from DRK's rules, so it still stands! In post 0, mastina wrote:Which titles should I not nominate?
You should not nominate:- You will not receive the title and other users may find it annoying that you tried this. If there are title nominations for you in consideration in the thread, be careful about giving too much feedback or input - while declining a specific title or set of titles that's currently in discussion for you is perfectly fine, going too far beyond that may cause users to become uncomfortable with the current proceedings.a title for yourself.

I really think the title events are cool and would even encourage more of them. I always saw the title threads to be a niche group of players talking there but the title events definitely makes it more accessible and open for the community, even if the titles only last for a month."I give up on trying to read you. You're unimaginably scummy, with a dose of ultra-Town thrown in for spice."-

I'm taking suggestions for the January event, btw. The October event's pretty much set in stone; I know what I want to do for it, but I'm incredibly dissatisfied with the original idea I had for the January event which is why I want help to brainstorm. In post 111, Bitmap wrote:I really think the title events are cool and would even encourage more of them. this is an extremely good idea. I fully support title secret santaIn post 113, Bitmap wrote:If it was December, I would suggest a Secret Santa title event.
But for January, maybe consider having everyone pair with someone and their partners control what title they get?-

the title council eventcouldhave been good, I think. the rules just encouraged anti-nomming everything. Hopefully there's a way to resolve this issue in the rerun. maybe giving each user a set amount of votes/antivotes...THIS POST IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.-

still think they should be easy to get but temporary, and only made permanent in threads like this one after due discussion
imo one shouldn't have to follow 3 other title threads to be sure they can have input on those calls about whether a title meets criteria or notYou can't step in the same river twice.-

That’s the biggest problem, it’s essentially the normal process but kinda worseIn post 1162, Alisae wrote:how about its an unoriginal uninspired event that the normal thread just does significantly better<Embrace The Void>
