I had to go back and check if mafia had daytalk. If they didn't I would have really scum read this. It still feels anti-town but I don't see why mafia would want to put the strategy out in the open rather than share it with partners only, so I guess you're town.

Not afraid, but they don't need to. If they didn't have day chat this would have looked like giving instructions to partners though.

And yes, scum do want to be in the bunker, but so do town. The more townies protected the better for us, and the more scum in there the better for them.

The bomb doesn't necessarily want to sound too townie since it wants to set it self up to get lynched at some point in the game.

This doesn't feel very relevant in any way. I don't see any harm pointing out what scum's strategy might be since there are benefits to it. If we know the Bomb is going to try to stay under-the-radar as opposed to attempting to town-tell hard, then we can potentially narrow down our lynches to a certain degree.

Fun fact, if you take this post apart, you’ll see that there’s a surprising amount of stuff written in there.

and it’s rather obvious that he didn’t have to put all of that in here, especially the parts that make him look more townie / earnest.

Assuming that theory is correct, this shouldn’t be SvS.
Scum!eyes must have already put in quite a bit of effort to say that “he didn’t know there was daychat”, so I strongly feel that if he was scum with Temporal and wanted to distance from him early, he would have been likely to do it in a more elaborate manner.

I mean, the reasoning doesn’t seem all that strong, but for some reason I really feel it should work that way.

I don’t want to put words in his mouth, but in essence I think he was more coming from the direction of ‘mafia doesn’t go this balls deep into the whole scum claiming thing’ which I can see as a view, although I’m not sure I agree as it has to do with the player - if I ever do meta this is one of the things to check.

You have played around 5 full games on-site? 2-3 games less than me, if you don’t count all of the games I quickly replaced out of.
And 9:12 doesn’t even seem like your first game, so I find it somewhat unlikely that this would be your first time seeing someone make speculations about the setup.

The fact that the scums “don’t need to” share sth, doesn’t mean they won’t do it for towncreed.
Lawliett seemed to want to pretend to be a newbie at the beginning, so I REALLY wouldn’t be surprised if they did that regardless of alignment
Especially since they didn’t even say anything important (lol)


Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that, I don’t like the reasoning. It’s obviously not reliable and Eyes writing so much about it feels just like a possible attempt to gain town-creed.

Update: Errors mostly fixed, although I may have made some mistakes with the wagon order. Due to the low impact nature of said mistakes, they will likely never be fixed. I found 6 mistakes in the original VC, and apologize for my sloppy modding last night.
