Gamma, actually, doesn’t really feel the same to me as the last game we were in; tonally they actually feel a bit weirdly different from how I remember them.

Well I was a cop that game and that affected how I played in that game. I'm not here. Like you saw Persivul poking me for bring different, he was right even though he was scum.

Gamma let’s talk about this. If being a Cop changed your tone in that other game why would your tone be similar to your Cop play here when everyone is Vanilla?

gamma, why did you say that RC was town in #207? fast-tracking a majority coalition seems like a mistake to me, and an easy way to tr people carelessly

Sorting feels genuine, especially wrt EP and the logic there, and don't feel like he's trying too much to dominate the game

seemed way too bold and way too wifom-y for a mafia to say so early in the game. their tone was super relaxed and then it seemed like they genuinely lost interest in the game as it went on. that was enough for me to figure i would be replacing into a town slot.

posts #158, #169, and #184 from gamma all struck me as towntelling

you came up so much in catch-up because a lot of your posts ended up catching my eye and making me think "damn, that's really towny". it wasn't intentional on my part, you just made a lot of posts that grabbed my attention

I just felt that the nsg/RCMA meta was really conclusive regarding their alignment; the thing that really stuck out to me was that in RCMA’s last scumgame was that nsg’s head only posted once that game. Their effort this game seems to incredibly starkly contrast this game, to the point where I’d be willing to townread RCMA based only on that.

i'll give it a look, in that case. meta talk tends to go over my head because i'm not familiar with the community, and i find that meta is such a malleable & easy thing to manipulate that it's typically useless. but it sounds like this is a case where it might be relevant

Nero and I haven’t had a chance to coordinate on this. I’m not sold on Hectic yet but definitely prefer him to Great, Gamma, LUV.

They just haven’t done anything to warrant a tr so far. What bothered me the most was him telling Espresso to play the game, yet when I asked him for reads, he never gave any. Again, it’s POE, if he were to give some reads and explain them to my satisfaction, that would obviously change my read on him.

I'm liking Hectic's content and reads, but the difference in his playstyle is really nagging at me. It's almost like he's too good to be true now that he's playing normally, and I'm seeing that as a possible scum tactic.

@anyone else who has played with him, what are your thoughts on his behaviour? Do you think the change in his posting style is AI? Why/why not?

Could you provide analysis of quotes from games of his as each alignment? It’s hard to really acknowledge the meta argument you have against him without any.

If I wanted to buddy up to RC I would be clamoring to sheep him.

So your defense is basically, "I'm not being obvious scum, therefore I'm not scum." Also, RC hasn't really given out any reads so you could even sheep him if you wanted to.

My defense is that simply agreeing with a fairly general sentiment about this setup isn’t going to win over skilled players like NSG and RC.
