Why is the hood secret?

I claimed the hood's existence outright because of its power.


We have a factional doctor and a factional kill that we vote on. There are enough of us to vote and matter.

By design town are guaranteed to outnumber scum in the hood, so we currently control both powers. There is also no guarentee that there is any or not multiple scum. role states that every hood slot has a 25% chance to be scum.

I want the more sensible hood members to remain autonomous if possible, to preserve their privacy and to add a security to the hood.
Also its nice to use the hood as a tool to hunt, both inside of it and in this game thread.

We can have up to like 5 scum factions in this game, I do not want to think about which scum or who, just focus on hunting first.

Idea setups aren't Broken by Balance, ever. Too much random not enough balance.

More useful to look at player preferences.

A50 wouldn't go for scum IC, I don't think. He isn't the kind of player who needs the boost, he can talk down his own lynch just fine. Dunno any other claims.

We decided to keep membership secret unless a member decided they were fine with outing their participation. (And then proceeded to accidentally out spam.)

Everyone else had their alignment left unchanged, I mentioned before how the Slivers will automatically and randomly pick players to be made Slivers to fill a certain quota.

The hood members can be any alignment, Town isn’t guaranteed to have a majority or even a plurality

Didn't see anything post vig to support. Not sure I could tell with gobbles. What's the thought with Sgt. Angle?

Quiet in our hood, being what I feel is purposely obtuse, part of the spam push about the same time gobbles started up.

Alright, looked up slivers.

Sliver kill happens outside of the sliver thread, decide publicly. No real reason to hide slivers, since they're not confirmed to be any alignment distro and the ability is shared. Sliver doc probably happens inside of the sliver thread to prevent slivers from being taken over by a scumsliver.

Otherwise, ignore it.

And scum% in a hood only really matters as a talking point if it has a confirmed different composition than the main thread. Assuming x is scum or y is town in a hood is a good way to lose the game. Like anime UPick.
