let's see. if sau dies today, tomorrow it's Icon/Klick/Mena/Vex/Dats/Dong. Dong will probably latch onto you. Vex possibly latches onto Klick, and i think vex has a bigger chance to latch onto me than you. With both icon and dong TRing me (and dong seeing the mena/vex solve), I think this is a confusing enough state that we either 1) manage to hammer vex (or even klick??) or 2) at the very least you die before me (because i kinda feel that i have a better chance at making it through Klick/Vex/Icon? due to MeChaNiCaL shit - both vex and klick would fall for it I think. problem being if dong and icon are fakeclaiming... but when the time comes.)

Getting vex today would be... eh. sau would be annoying as all shit to go against tomorrow, and i think come 6p lylo sau will be able to solve the game. If you die then i'm most likely 1v1ng him in f4. Which... as much as I would love revenge for CoC, i'm not really sure what my chances against him are.

yes, that might be the correct play. at the very least, we're both off-wagon if vex does go through. better chances for a sau push. which i do not think is gonna work, but as long as we're confusing the gamestate and not eating rope i am okay.

Not sure if we have the numbers for a sau lynch. Don't think we do. Bella's gonna have to vote with us, and then we'd still need to convince someone from the vex wagon. Would klick be willing?

what's giving me pause about follower!icon is:

1) when revealing that he's a neighbor, he hints that he thinks there might be a masonry/other neighborhood/someone with a PT other than us. a mailman makes kinda sense for that?
2) 6 minutes after the day started, Dong was dropping hints about Bella. The day started at 5:04pm, and i know that icon is very very very rarely online at that time - he generally disappears at around 3:30pm-4pm, to maybe appear at 6pm-7pm. And the daystart was late, not like he could've known that's when it was gonna start to be online
3) he mentions not trusting dong completely (while i still doubt if that was sincere) - dunno if it would make sense for him to let dong claim it, especially when he was run up to L-1 day 1, and there were obviously people pushing for LaL if he tried to come clean again after letting dong claim it in case he started distrusting dong

the only points in favor of follower!icon (or at least against mailman!icon):

1)...i had a point here i swear, i'll remember it later

yeah, I think the fact that it makes them look sooooo obviously scummy is the main point against doing it bc why would you actually do that when icon believes he's in a town bloc with you

so yeah prob the optimal route to try and win is to lynch sau, kill Bella (hope I don't get followed) then push VV or klick depending on who seems more viable, while assuming I die and trying to leave behind associatives that spew you town and spew one of the other two scum

if we agree on you doing the kill tonight, and if Dong Follows you and claims a guilty on you, I don't think there's a force in this universe that's gonna keep you from flipping. if I try to defend you there, it's gonna look way way worse for me in 4p. if i suddenly start bussing you, it's gonna look Forced and Bad.

so my idea is, if dong claims a guilty:

. start an angry rant about how Night 1 actions were bulllshit. how the NK got saved, how both icon and bella got confirmed, with dong being quasiconfirmed. like scream your heart out, spam the thread as much as humanely possible. self-hammer as soon as you get to L-1. i think this gives me an out in voting you without it appearing like a forced bus.

as long as you flip Goon, the argument of "with goon!mena flip i'm basically confirmed, there being just a scum NE against three very very strong PR's is insane and there's no way that's the actual setup" is i think gonna be enough to at least convince klick in 4p. either he then votes with me or others turn against him. why would scum!Mena say "guys datisi is GOOD as scum DO NOT tr her" when he sees his partner getting some ez ez townreads??

I kinda prefer the idea of copying pine in a recent game where I had him absolutely dead to rights as scum in LYLO
