Spoiler: my original case against follower!Icon

what's giving me pause about follower!icon is:

1) when revealing that he's a neighbor, he hints that he thinks there might be a masonry/other neighborhood/someone with a PT other than us. a mailman makes kinda sense for that?
2) 6 minutes after the day started, Dong was dropping hints about Bella. The day started at 5:04pm, and i know that icon is very very very rarely online at that time - he generally disappears at around 3:30pm-4pm, to maybe appear at 6pm-7pm. And the daystart was late, not like he could've known that's when it was gonna start to be online
3) he mentions not trusting dong completely (while i still doubt if that was sincere) - dunno if it would make sense for him to let dong claim it, especially when he was run up to L-1 day 1, and there were obviously people pushing for LaL if he tried to come clean again after letting dong claim it in case he started distrusting dong

the only points in favor of follower!icon (or at least against mailman!icon):

1)...i had a point here i swear, i'll remember it later

so, i skimmed the thread again - and uhhhh, i still kinda wanna think dong's the follower?

so no1 is still confusing me. it would make "sense" for a mailman to think that there's maybe other PT's. Unless he was planning on fakeclaiming that anyway, I do not see why he would even mention that.

about no2 and actions at daystart. so game unlocks at 5:04. At 5:10 dong is hinting at bella. we know that icon's vote (508) on bella is bullshit either way - either he got the result himself or dong told him in the PT.

and adding to no3, dong said that there's something that would make them confirmed before the follow was claimed. If icon's the follower we'd have to assume he trusted dong that much to give them that claim - which tbh as i'm typing out doesn't seem that unlikely... hmmm.

scenario 1:
- fol!icon sees the protective on bella, claims it immediately to dong, dong starts dropping hints 6 minutes after daystart. they must've had agreed during the night to do that, and it would've been hell of a coincidence for icon to be online then. (since daystart was late)

scenario 2:
- fol!dong sees protective on bella, starts dropping hints and tells icon. icon checks the PT - and naked votes bella anyway (to keep up the SR?)

uhhhh, the thing is, they're not dumb - they know the scum has to take out a PR. they would be trying to wifom that, especially as the day's progressing. That's why i'm kinda sus of any "hurr durr i neeeeeeed to use my follower PM" shit at eod, since that's where they would be trying their hardest to bait.
