OK, so here's the deal: I have been waiting on someone to come up with a case on DEB for me to evaluate that someone, and whether the case looked genuine or a push for a mislynch.

I do not put any significance to this, but it happened. Many reasons could exist for TL's post and kidadmin's response.

Serious question: how many people actually believe a cult is inevitable here? because I am not a particular fan of keeping suspicion on townish players when I dont see any evidence of one. Looks to me like scum was using it to spread some shade and keep the focus off their own factions.

Given what information I have purely from my role PM, I would say that the best course of action in this game is going to be to ignore the roles themselves (well, not completely ignore obviously, investigative results should be treated with the same care as usual) and focus on the deeds and words of players. Approach it like role-madness. If someone says they're a Even Night Compulsive Watcher, don't assume they're town, or even Mafia. Look at how many goddamn different factions are in that post #0. It's gonna be a wild ride.

For that reason alone, I'm not going to instantly treat this... masonry, or neighbourhood, or whatever you want to call it, as suspicious just for having access to abilities beyond the purview of vanilla 'hood members/masons/yadayada, and doing so is narrow-minded at best and outright sus at worst.
