I was thinking about the comment Expresso made wrt flavour. Do other people agree that there could possibly be a connection with flavour and role?

So, I’m taking that to mean, role and flavour may be connected. So, I don’t really think it could hurt if A50, Chk, Eon mentioned their flavour, since we already know their roles. Because if all of their flavours match their roles, then there might possibly be an argument for the likelihood of Petruccio/Kate being doctor.

@Drew, which one are you, Petruccio or Kate? because it matters. Since Petruccio tames Kate, he makes way more sense as doc than Kate.

That’s interesting. If flavour and role are in anyway connected, I don’t see Kate as being the most ideal Shakespearian character to be doc.

regarding this discussion i would say: on this Day i don't believe further flavour speculation will be helpful.
i don't consider it particularly harmful either (and those who remember my play in previous games know i tend to think it's very harmful), but given the potential for harm is there that's my take on it.

The timing of the Flippynips wagon, combined with Haggle voting R and J and not Flippynips, made me think that scum was protecting Haggle by pushing two other town wagons. One of which(flippy) has just been lurky and no one can really make a pro town argument for and the other (R and J) is the only other semi decently big wagon.

And as I said, this is making the assumption that Haggle is scum(and I do think Haggle is scum, hence why I am coming from it from that perspective).

And, from your perspective, if I know Flippynips and R and J would be mislynches.....wouldn't I also know that Haggle would be a mislynch?

I mean, my vote is on Haggle.

Sure you would know that Haggle is a mislynch unless A) You're scum with Haggle or B) You're scum pushing Haggle as a mislynch

What are people thinking about dr drew?

I'm not sure. I dont think hed be pushing my mislynch as hard as he is if he was scum, but I've only played with him once and it was when he was town and I was scum, so i dont know if that's his playstyle. I have seen some comments about pre-flip associatives that seemed weird, but they are assuming that I'm scum, so it can't be tmi. I dont really know what to make of it.

Thinking about the flavor thing, how many roles have a fitting Shakespeare character anyway?
Sure there are a few obvious ones that line up, but not a whole lot. No reason to suspect the obvious ones are even in the game as characters or roles.

So I'd say perhaps but don't count on it.

But Nancy, if you're actually looking at my scum meta, theres another game.

It's this one. I died D1 and pretty sure I got angry there and made an issue of my meta. viewtopic.php?f=51&t=81123.
So i dont know that I'm actually outside of things I've done as scum. More confident in V&M town now. The meta check definitely adds points.
