Last town game I played with him he definitely put way less effort in and way less posts

I switch up my general activity and posting style to prevent people from being able to get activity reads on me. The game in question was running concurrently with TM2020 Whiteflag where I was scum and purposefully lurked. That then lead to real life getting in the way so I lurked disproportionately across the site.

To answer the question if I like scum... well, I am curious, Churros, how would “might be able to find out” what my preference is?

I prefer playing town. I don’t like playing scum because it takes the detective/solvey part out of the game.
On a scale 1-10, probably a 6 for enjoyment in playing scum. On a scale 1-10, probably a 10 on the effort I put into playing scum. I put 10 into effort playing as town too.

Do you think effort can be easily seen through just posts in the main thread?

Upon deeper consideration, a condescending push can come from town or scum, and that's probably Enter's general style.

At the time, however, it would be accurate to say my Adorable townlean was more a product of sympathy (to Adorable) or spite (to Enter).

As you can see in the reads list, I townread Alimdia and Mastina. I have a townlean on the others.

While it is true that a townlean is effectively a light townread, Titus is painting it as though I suddenly dropped Adorable from the top of my list to the bottom.

If your wagon continues to grow, I highly suggest you ignore Titus' advice and claim. Egix has rightfully pointed out that claiming loses some of its usefulness in a role madness game, but I'm willing to wait for your claim until I make up my mind.

408 and 446 should make it clear that my vote on Adorable depends on what her claim is. If I didn't care about Adorable's claim, I would have just voted her at 408.

Titus' post makes it out like I was going to vote Adorable regardless of her claim but then I suddenly became unsure.

I care about Adorable's claim insofar as it relates to the size of her wagon. At the time of posting 446, I believe Adorable was at L-3, with my vote as a possible L-2. That's why advised Adorable to claim "if [her] wagon continues to grow...."

If Titus was right and I just wanted Adorable's claim, it would have been easier for me to vote her to increase the pressure.

Voting Adorable to increase the pressure does nothing if she buys me not telling her to claim and her wagon has peaked. It also diverts from you. 408 strongly indicates you're willing to vote Adorable whatever the claim. 446 is another threat towards claiming. It's dressed up but it might as well be claim or I'll vote you. Claiming is less useful in role madness so I'm going to keep my vote there.

It's plain as day. Just read the ISO and people can determine what's real and what isn't.

Unless Gobble plus Egix is a team, then Egix targeting any wagon is just a playstyle diversion and OMGUS.

I'm not surprised to be honest. I was actually afraid of it. I knew pushing her that hard might cause her to do that, which fucking sucks because I DO think that she's scum and because I'm pretty sure the slot's scum I need to lynch it to win. Ah well.

The replacement will probably make her alignment more apparent.
On that note--Sujimichi is much better and is at the VERY least not below the nullline right now, miiiiiight be above it but will need to think about it some more.

That's literally impossible to not have a read on EP though. It's so baffling. To not even take a position on EP is so baffling that it's either scum faking it or town so not reading the game as to not be taken seriously at all. The nonsensical and incomprehensible waffling on Suji despite him being a townread doesn't help either.

You aren't misconveying anything as much as you legitimately say nothing and are proud of it because it's not a "gamestate" read.

I'll give this an detailed explanation to get some things out of the way.

The sole reason for this alt is to play this game casually, only doing what I feel comfortable doing. I only replaced in this game because I've a objective of always being in 2 to 3 games during the year so that I always have something to read when I feel like playing, but not too many or large for me to get overwhelmed.

That said, it's nothing personal, but I find this game somewhat distasteful at least currently. There's a lot of unnecesary walls and everyone playstyle here seems to write lenghty/wordy overanalysis that I often don't feel like reading. 10 pages of this game might as well have as many words as 20 or even 25 of some other games because of those walls, that sometimes don't go anywhere interesting by the end.

I didn't feel like reading them so I skipped a lot of posts and focused on some posts/ISOs that I felt were sticking out. As a personal philosophy I often find those analytical posts meaningless, when I play scum those are the easiest to fake.

I don't feel like going back and reading this game in particular therefore I'm mostly only reading the game after I replaced in, and even then if I sense you post is going nowhere like some discussion on mafia theory that happened in the last pages, I'm skipping it and calling it NAI.
