Regardless of whether or not Churros is scum, saying "I'll vote X before Y" even if lynching one scum wins the game still makes sense coming from a town perspective. For instance, I might say "I'd vote Elmo before NM because I think the reasoning makes more sense for Elmo" and that would be completely logical
