Actually I wonder if scum strategy would be to form a townblock and subvert it. Being able to infect the universal TRs would be a great strategy.

As someone that normally finds Mastina scummy, I rather not lynch her today. OFC the inverse of that argument is that I don't want to have to worry about an infected Mastina (if I'm right that she's town) and lynching her would alleviate that.

I think infected people can infect other people by doing night actions but mafia don’t inherently infect people with their actions.

Geez! Just when I was considering reconsidering my read on you. It says the infection is a factional thing, and the infected are NOT "Mafia" themselves. They are 3P aligned with the Scum. That is why the mod has them as a separate entity when stating the wincons. It says the win con for Mafia/Infected, which is a clear indication Infected =/= Mafia, and thus Infected canNOT infect people, because ONLY MAFIA CAN.

Now I challenge you to design a game with your stated/allegedly perceived mechanics, and make it remotely balanced. You've got until the end of the year.

That can't be the case, because if you don't know then you don't know your own wincon. An infected player should get a notification of their alignment change to be able to play to their new wincon.

By now I am sus of both ETL & Quick for missing fundamental concepts of how a game should work despite them both being experienced enough.

Like, really... Mafia is lucky enough to infect a Fruit vendor on N1 (say), and on N2 they infect a Hider, while the FV infects some other player. That'd be 3 infected already by the start of D3, and then by the start of D4 the Mafia infect someone and each of their recruits infects another and we have 6 infected + 3 Mafia + 3 lynched + 2 killed (assuming they don't kill an infected player). The game is fucking over already because there's no way we can lynch 3 Mafia before the Mafia + Infected gain parity.
