So I'm working out a couple ISOs, but Auro's reaction to Llamarble pushing on him was similar to Farside pushing on him (and doesn't line up with other pushes on him that I've observed so far). Auro had a habit of choosing specific people to engage with fiercely that were voting him, while otherwise not really pushing against others (myself being the latter category).

I'd be pretty unsurprised? It was a bad wagon, but one that was unlikely to actually murderize the person it was going after, and Blair and Puppy both lean town to me.

whereas MT the only reason I can think of is that she played really well in her last scum game and her waffling a bunch on Auro d1 and not really showing up with much when farside/Porkens happened is...not that.

I guesss I don't really have a town read on Kmd either? But his back and forth with ABR day 1 felt fine to me. Do want to hear his thoughts now since now we've basically had two scum flips since the last time he had time to contribute much.

in other news, AGar has now thoroughly ingratiated himself into my town reads - can't imagine this post coming from scum - there are clear benefits for scum to not alerting everyone to the source of the misunderstanding, pretty much regardless of Blair/Starbuck alignments.

given that he had established suspicion of VP early, this feels like a natural progression to me. it's weak as hell and a chainsaw of a scumbuddy, but being wrong is not in and of itself a scumtell and this one doesn't exactly come out of nowhere.

so this next post bothers me a lot

still here, still prefer VPB but it's not like i'm super sold on Auro as town (or on VPB as scum for that matter) and i mostly just want this day to be over with.

for the record, before Starbuck dropped her revelation, i was thinking a lynchpool of {Blair, Puppy, Morning Tweet, iamausername} was a very reasonable way for the day to go, following yesterday's events, with Blair being the choice from that pool that i'd be backing. i reread overnight in light of Auro's flip, and Blair very much comes off as scum expecting the day to drift inexorably to a VP Baltar lynch and panicking when ABR pulled the rug out from under her.

but with a lynchpool of {Porkens, farside, Starbuck} i don't know where to go, because all of them read as town to me, before and after the flip. if i had to pick right now i'd probably vote farside because i remember less clearly

I don't like it because the prescriptive nature of "oh, I guess I'm a reasonable lynch" seems.... vaguely scummy to me. I don't know, a big mea culpa where none was really warranted and no pressure was on him. assuming scumreads on yourself feels scummy to me.

also, I really don't like the flip on farside given she was in his strongest townread pile, especially given the "oh I don't know why I was townreading this". I don't get having a strong townread with no actual reason. feels like post hoc reasoning.

ooo ooo, I'm a reporter! If by investigate his slot, you mean review his iso, I'm eager to do that. I have some notes on my computer after D1. It just wasn't as compelling as the MT case, who is def the right purge (this is the new word I'm using!) today. I'll grab that IAAU stuff next time I'm on a PC though
