The post (about your reads) kinda felt wishy-washy as you did not seem confident in them at all, and you proved that by, well, saying that you weren't confident in them later. It makes sense from town POV but the sear amount of reads + your low confidence in them felt icky.

Conceptually I don't really see how it's any more statistically pro-town than everyone having their random ass shots
The main thing it adds is some semblance of governance, but everyone would have to get on board with it which isn't gonna happen

You should and let me tell you why
By managing our shoots in an organized environment, we don’t let scum shoot the townies that we want to keep alive. If you are trying to encourage a crazed chaotic environment, thats where scum thrive in and you basically get to let them do whatever they want. Its better to use our numbers as town to agree on people who we want to shoot and well, shoot them.

You still get to shoot someone so it’s still fun regardless.
I’m not telling you (You have to shoot this individual and only this individual) I’m actually trying to make sure that people don’t shoot the players we want to keep alive because we think they’re town.
Also by coming up with a shot list (Of say 3 individuals maybe 5 but 5 seems like too much) You are forcing scum to justify who they shoot.

With a gameplan like this, you are basically taking control of the game out of scum’s hands and forcing scum to react to whatever plan town comes up with.
It’s actually more fun then just having some kind of chaotic mess would be because working together with people is fun and thats what we’re trying to encourage.

5 feels like too much breathing room but 3 is probably the best. 1 feels like people are being forced to shoot an individual so thats no good.

In mashes on MU, people typically make shotlist of people who are in the POE who need to flip/die. A similar strategy could be good here. It's just that we have to trust who is making the shotlist

but a discussion to get some consensus town players that are whitelisted from being shot, maybe find who we should prioritize shooting, and stuff like that is perfectly reasonable. Which is the vibe im getting from K&S' post. theyre right we dont really want total chaos where scum doesnt have to account for themselves
