actually slight TL on pooky right now because RQS can draw heat and calling attention to themselves doesn't scream scum to me.
1) Pandemic Legacy S1. For sure. Charterstone is a close second. I really enjoy legacy games. In post 90, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:Since this is a board game mafia game I suggest we all fill out this questionnaire:
1) What is your Favorite Board Game?
2) Favorite memory playing Board Games?
3) If you could live in the universe of a Board Game - which one would it be?
4) If you were stuck on a desert island with a few friends - and a large supply of food and water - which one board game would you like to have to play while you wait for rescue?
5) If you could pick one board game to never exist - what would it be?
2) Monopoly game nights were funnnn.
3) Does D&D count? Besides the whole "omnipotence" thing, being a DM there would be a pretty lit game world to live in.
4) So mad that I can't put a legacy game here, because they run out too easily. I'd put Scythe, because I'd love to get better at strategizing there.
5) Ticket to Ride. I've been forced to play that farrr too many times.-

Idk how to put this but its a matter of gut tbh."I really dig your cult leadery charismatic vibes" - Hectic

BMs signature move is the VT lolclaim and its very wifomy but it leans town since it disredits a rolefish attempt from scum!BM laterIn post 65, arachnidsGrip wrote:I really want to see what 8attle Mage does next with this claim, I am somewhat confused as to why it was made."I really dig your cult leadery charismatic vibes" - Hectic

2) At the end of a Monopoly game my mom iirc said, “suck it Donald Trump!”
3) Game of Life, since it’s basically normal
4) give us a deck of cards, there’s so many options so we’d never get tired of playing.
5) Chutes and Ladders, it’s so basic<Embrace The Void>

1) there are some i've played once or twice that i couldn't recall but were fun. i'm never the person that owns the games, you know?In post 90, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:Since this is a board game mafia game I suggest we all fill out this questionnaire:

2) uh, probably just playing them with friends and us getting all yell-y at each other over it.
3) clue because i am of status/money enough to live in a cool mansion.
4) monopoly because it would lead to murder and thus a food source.
5) also monopoly. see point 4.-

i fucking love catan, thanks modIn post 75, Mizzytastic wrote:
Monopoly is all well and good but I'm here to post about hobbyist board games because I'm a nerd. Settlers of Catan is a classic of the genre and is considered to have popularised the Eurogame, which is characterised by mostly indirect player interaction, no player elimination, catch up mechanics and a decent amount of abstraction in game pieces. Amongst a lot of hobbyists it's thought of as fun but not necessarily having aged as well as some, but for the top level competitors it has become an aggressively social game, where manipulating other players to get the most out of the trading mechanic is a big key to victory.check out osuka's votecounter + modtools, and get to know an idiot (me!)
