Why is everyone unvoting?
First of all, you can vote 'no lynch' if you so desire. Second, we ought to get someone lynched every day, because that's the only possibility we have of killing scum, and while nightkills do give information, they generally take away good town players. Yes, we're incredibly divided, but the way to fix that isn't to be passive and give up, it's to wrangle out some semblance of compromise.
If people really really aren't happy with a 72 lynch because there's no time, I can settle for muh. I could possibly settle for ff but I would really need to ISO them and the english opening before them. I'm willing to case 72 properly tomorrow. But for goodness' sake we need a lynch.I proved myself a coward, who would desert a dying man.

Hum actually why would you vote no lynch? That gets rid of what little time we have left.
Still; my point stands.I proved myself a coward, who would desert a dying man.

Look, the way I saw it was this. Maybe it was that I was getting less coherent as time went on, but 72 seemed to get less coherent the more he was pushed. He's jumped from slot to slot, and the key thing is, he's never said 'oops I was wrong, here's why'; he's had no progression. He's never gotten off his carousel, he's just moved from horse to horse, giddy-up'd it for a bit and then climbed straight to the next one.In post 820, fferyllt wrote:
I was more perplexed than sus. JDye's comment about his tunnel building over several days vs Spangled getting there in a night puts it in a different perspective. Spangled is an outside observer. JDye was in the middle of a mutual tunnel, which is an easy place to get tilted. In post 808, 72offsuit wrote:

On the gripping hand, I'm pretty polarized in the opposite direction and wasn't around to experience it in real time, either.I proved myself a coward, who would desert a dying man.

This is why we settled on no elim. It was originally floated by ff, I thought it through and you are the first one to disagree. I'm happy to hear an argument against it cos like I said bit spooked people just agreedIn post 844, Mizzytastic wrote:See stuff I said about no elim. We basically get a long day 2 with an extra set of night actions in the middle. I don't think weighing up the extra town night actions vs giving scum another shot is trivial for scum when we want to be on odds anyway and it doesn't change the number of town directed kills.
I also wouldn't blame any player from either alignment for not considering all that.
I don't entirely get what she saw in muh been as its what made me vote there again but I think wanting a no elim here, especially as a replacement who helped invigorate the game, isn't unreasonable-

We have 22 minutes jeez. We can't just settle for no lynch; the more people we get out like 72, who even if town aren't saying anything helpful, the easier this game gets to sort.
Ah;that'swhy people want no lynch; I get it now. The kill will get rid of one more difficult-to-read person, and correct me if I'm wrong but I think some people are fed up and hoping it'll be them.I proved myself a coward, who would desert a dying man.

See I just think the kill will be Mizzy. They're all but UTRed. This won't get rid of a difficult to read player, quite the opposite, it'll get rid of the only player every seems to think is town. Then we'll just be more fractured and more divided than before.
That's why I think no-lynch is bad; we just won't get anything out of it. Yes we want to be on an odd number but we want to do that on our terms, especially in MyLo, not now when town still has a reasonable number of scum; 6-2 ain't bad and 5-2 just gets worse.I proved myself a coward, who would desert a dying man.

Yes 6-2 is awkward, but we want to no-lynch at MyLo; that's when we ought to. Mizzy will just get killed tonight and we'll have nothing new.I proved myself a coward, who would desert a dying man.

Site terminology for the difference between an even vs odd game final situation (where town need to get scum) . They play out differently cos of how majority voting works and you often no elim to get a town person dead to reduce PoE
No elim now is mathematically the same in that we don't lose a town directed kill, we just play it on odds instead of evens-

Well, unless there was an intentional NK N1, there is either a JK or Doc to protect her.In post 884, Spangled wrote:See I just think the kill will be Mizzy. They're all but UTRed. You are nothing if not reactionary. You are nothing but reactionary. In post 788, 72offsuit wrote:In summary im not that thrilled with the current wagons anymore, and wud much prefer a kick amongst spang jdye and egix. Probably spang.
I come in and say that I think you're scum, and from your perspective who's scum now? Me.
Okay, maybe nothing but reactionary isn't true, but it sounded good. And you always either back down on a read when someone challenges it, and push the people pushing you. I have so much trouble seeing this as town.
What scares me is that it could be, though. Some of your posts have seemed at least a little townie to me, in that they're honest, I guess.
Pedit:
I know they play out differently, but why push us to odds now? That's an extra spot we should be storing up for when it gets to actual MyLo (mislynch and lose). This isn't MyLo.
Pedit 2:
True, I hadn't thought about that, actually. Yeah, that's fair. That's a whole lot of WIFOM though.I proved myself a coward, who would desert a dying man.

Look 4 minutes I think 72's wagon still has three on it. I really think we ought to save up the extra person for MyLo. Can we please get someone to flip who hasn't done much so that it's any easier to read tomorrow?I proved myself a coward, who would desert a dying man.

Polarizing... this is my point... and why I waffle. It's so unbelievable that he's either scum making a hell of a ballsy play or town firing at anything that moves...In post 890, Spangled wrote:
