So what was throwing off Math's VCA was that this was a 3p wagon running counter to a scum wagon

But scum didn't know Ircher was actually 3p, they thought he was more likely town, so they have been trying not to spew themselves scum by not pushing the 3p through earlier

The slots that have been wildly scummy in response to Gamma's wagon are still scum for exactly the same reasons because from their POV Ircher was going to flip town
