Salsa, I'm going to link you one of my completed games (NPOM was in this one). It was 4v3 ELo and I knew who two of the scum were, and I also knew that I was dying the next night because I was confirmed town. I had two candidates for the remaining scum. Rather than forcing a vote on the known scum, I picked the candidate who was playing better because she would be able to talk her way out of an elim once I was gone. I don't think that "playing better" is quite the right reason for a vote when there are more obvious candidates.
