Poking through the game for easy targets to push is a terrible characterization of my scum play. i dont think i have ever tried to push an elim or a scumread decently as scum, it's rare as town but does happen when I feel >50% confident i have something or if i want to find a reaction

Watcher was gated. That means that even if scum have ninja, it is definitely x shot. Scum have zero reason to be using a shot on night 1 even if they have it. That is why at least one of morning and S_S is scum and mostly likely it is just one and not both.

Acknowledging that there's probably not a ninja is like the towniest thing she's done today, and it's basically an NAI move, tbh. The post I made was calling it out as weird that she used both the actual reason and a nonsense reason.

no I didn't read it but point me to the differences between what we have here and what we had in chara's folly.

1) In Legends of the Hidden Temple. Notsci challenged to make it a Lilith v Bulge gladiate since Notsci was UTR. Lilith and Bulge basically didn't really case each other or push each other hard at all - niether of them seemed to care v much. The reason was because they were both scum.

2) In Chara's Folly - Tweetie went into F4 basically gladiated with ducky. She opened with this post:

She hasn't even put in 5% of the effort she did there.

Both of them have thrown up their hands and said "well we're biased so you guys should make up your own minds"

Which is just really hard for me to imagine people doing in a competitive event such as this one?

Actually, I sort of see your point. The consensus is pretty clearly against MT, so she as town would be motivated to do anything in her power to try to turn the vote to me, because she has nothing to lose. But as scum, she risks spewing. So her not really trying here is scum indicative, yes.

...But I'm not in the same spot. I feel pretty comfortable with the way the votes have gone. From my perspective there are various downsides to efforting, but the upside right now is minimal.

I took a look at Kanna's interactions with PrivateI to get a sense of how she would interact with a LHF-type townie.
First of all, she doesn't seem to directly interact with them too much. I actually think this makes sense because there is a lot more incentive to interact/distance with a LHF scumbuddy than a LHF townie.
Second, I think her progression was a bit off. In 979, she seemed much more good faith towards PrivateI, but he sat at the bottom of her reads in 2546. I do think there are reasons that PrivateI could have fallen, but I also think town Kanna would have been more transparent about it.

Looking at how she interacts with Jake, I see consistency and inconsistency in the progression. I'm curious about why she went from agreeing with spf's randtown read on Jake to thinking that he deserves more scrutiny in 1288. From there on, Kanna was relatively consistent in stating that Jake should not be townread for his content. I think an important observation to make here is that her view in general was that Jake should

not be townread

instead of Jake should be

scumread

.

What looks good for Jake here is that Kanna's progression roughly resembled her progression on PrivateI: from a nulltown read to a scumread.
Originally, I thought Kanna's repeated insistence against Jake was a bad look for him. I thought that scum have more of an incentive to distance from LHF scumbuddies while they might just tack a noncommittal scumread onto LHF town. However, with context, I realized that she just was being pushed more about her read on Jake than PrivateI (SS, spf). In addition, I think my observation about her

not townreading

Jake rather than

scumreading

fits in more with noncommittal scumread rather than distance.

From this, I think that Jake is probably town based off of interactions. I get that people are annoyed that he isn't providing content, but I also think there are ways to read people exclusive from that they post.
