Elements had said something interesting ("I have good reads by page 2"), so I wanted to poke that a little bit and see if they were bullshitting or not.

Then Italiano interjected to defend that statement, so I wanted to figure out why. Turns out Italiano maybe just had a bad game rather than it saying anything about elements.

Curious why my play in particular struck you as filler? It's definitely rubbing two sticks together, but I'm working with what I have here so far.

they call me out on "low effort posting" but ignore RTP doing the same thing so clearly they think there's something scummy about page two reads, which I specifically said I didn't have. So they're slightly sussing me for not doing something they think is scummy.

I dislike Testarossa's post about VP. She comes out looking like she is trying extra hard, putting a lot of thought into the game, maybe an asset to town, but it's far too early in my opinion for any of those points against VP to have come from a genuine ping. However, I dislike Italiano's subsequent vote even more; it feels opportunistic in its timing, and the reason given ("not taking a chance" on whether or not "you caught me" is a joke) is terrible, as if he didn't want to admit he was piggybacking on Testa's post. I think I will keep my Harumi vote for now, but these two are both on my radar.

disagree - latching onto what is most obviously bad logic does not a town player make. its an easy play to attach oneself as scum and should be discarded as NAI.

its something i myself as scum would see and latch onto early on for towncred, as to why i reached that conclusion. I myself wanted to see how they play out wrt their sorting between elements/I considering the similarities and then later down the line question them about it.



What is your take on Elements Datisi?

I pushed and got testa MLed when we were both town once because they were very fluffy in posting. Over thinking is just their playstyle afaik.

You say you normally have an easy time getting early reads, and you seem set on sorting everyone one way or the other whenever possible even this early in the game, however you have all the players you say you are experienced with as some degree of null. Can you please elaborate on why you say you have an easier time reading familiar players, and maybe why that's different this game it would seem?

Harumi is a slot that will be useful in evaluating other slots for me based on their play thus far, so I'm taking a hands off approach for now with them.

I think I'll have to reread the game tomorrow, I'm in two because the first game was inactive, and I'm a little out of my depth right now. Maybe a reread of this game will help me regain my focus.
