He was willing to elim Duchess, Italiano, Andre, Elements, Dunn, me, and you thus far, based on the mood of the thread and if they can get traction.

I often do this as town simply because my vote is all I get. If I don't throw it around wildly what's the point? I don't think this is inherently scummy.

i have a huge dislike of lotus' 869 bc it seems like half the posts are baltar asking someone about their negative read on someone else and lotus framing that as taking advantage / trying to get onto a misexe wagon. i was actually decently town on lotus bc i thought the arguments he was making against italiano rang honest but this is just... bad.

re: 871 - might come as a shocker, but (1) i townread baltar (2) i play town by working with my townreads. like yeah i'm assuming his alignment bc i think he's town?

ok @rtp i feel like we need to Properly Talk. i'll go through your reads in 696 properly a bit later but i feel like a lot of things are just... noted vaguely positive things that don't exactly mean much? like e.g. italiano making statements that can be backed up, how/why is that townpoints? what statements do you mean here? why is willingness to reeval townie? and also like, i just plainly disagree that the list of why they were annoyed was any good so idk. like you feel what i mean?

As far as asking people to hear their cases or saying "yeah, I think that person has been scummy too"....what do you expect? 1) I want to see other people making cases. I'm not the only one playing the game here. 2) my Dunn wagon hasn't exactly launched into orbit. I'm probably not going to get that today given people are free passing him for lurking. I have to find another wagon that I find reasonably scummy to support.

I know you've had one scum read this game, but I actually don't know who the scum are and several people have said scummy things this game. I wish I had your confidence.

As far as my interactions with Datisi, I've found him increasingly town over the course of the game. Once that happens, scum is fucked there. I will town block Datisi hard and NKing is the only way out of that. We have played a reasonable number of games together, and Id like to think I know his town play reasonably well.

- Lunar was towny. Very similar vibes to the last game I played with him. midwaybear's entrance kept the vibes going well.

- Relaxed, doesn't seem fussed about what people feel about them. Lots of questioning and probing.

- Based partly on other people's takes. I like the Dutchess/GC analysis.

- Most of the shot posts don't give me anything ai, but the recent take on Me, GC, Italiano voting is a great line of thinking.

- Towny side of the middle. The longer analysis posts are giving me town vibes. The constant "Yo Elements, stop ignoring me." without using that as a reason for a read also gives me good vibes. I was disappointed in the towning because I did the same thing of ignoring to norweegianboy at one point from a scum read and their reaction to it just heightened the scumread so I suppose it was a bit of a reaction test.

- Haven't figured out how to read this one. I think he's generally quite towny, but other people don't? Not rlly sure what to think.

- Fairly null. People have been commenting on tvs with Dutchess and I can see that being either one of them. GC is slightly lower because Dutchess is higher.

The way BM has engaged with this game feels very different from the scum game I just shared with him. In that game, he posted some serious struggle content, then lurked, then replaced out.

Granted, that was a weird game, but BM feels very loose and natural this game to me.
