Nacho I'll be honest with ya, I'm not sure I'm exactly thrilled with Brutalism, I'm not sure exactly why Brutalism posts 153 if they're a villager? I don't think there's anything thats good that can actually come from it but maybe I'm wrong.

I don't necessarily think town is eating itself alive, but I don't think that the game state is healthy which is always a bad sign. A healthy game state means that people want to come in and post in this the thread - healthy game state means people are having fun and people are making emotional connections with one another, which means that scum feel guilty for fooling one another and thus it's a hell of a lot harder to hide.

Hilariously enough, the most important piece that I gleamed from Mollie when I played with her was the importance of gamestate health - ask her about what I'm seeing and I'm sure she'll be able to explain it better than I am.

I still need to do reading. I hyperfocused on Cabd during my busy time bc Cabd is a RL friend who tends to talk a lot of shit so I'm particularly invested in putting him in his place, but I don't have a good picture of the gamestate overall.

Okay yeah I agree with you and I'm glad we're seeing eye to eye when it comes to this because part of that is why me and mollie weren't posting. I don't thrive in these conditions and Mollie agreed with me that we didn't really have a reason to act when it came to a lot of the things we talked about. Me and mollie talked about the gamestate a bit and what we think was going on the other day but this isn't something I really want to elaborate on at the moment.

This is just platitudes. I'm going to further break tendencies just to tell you a game called FL vs Hectic. The whole game was a party that didn't quit, I took little or no agency in explaining my scumreads and just voting off vibes. I made a few errors based on this, and scum definitely used the fan factor to hide. You know what builds healthy gamestates?

People just playing the game instead of sitting here and telling them they aren't.

1st - They never had an opportunity to self-hammer, they only got to 6 votes
2nd - no scum does this in the history of ever, and I'm not sure why you think they would start doing it in nightless
3rd - Even if they did declare intent to self-hammer, why would they self hammer so soon? If they're a villager it wouldn't make sense, you're basically denying the opportunity to judge reactions. If they're scum, then they want to be alive for as long as possible.

There's no reason for town!Sweet and Salty to not announce intent to self. It gives them a chance to talk and engage with the players. It allows them to improve their reads. If they actually want to commit to the self-hammer because they feel like their flip is important for some reason, they have that option as well after they obtained some reads that they can feel a bit better about. Announcing intent to self allows them to do more things as a player as not doing that and just selfing.

It means nothing and doesn't make them town. You have gotten ridiculous to the point ur calling people threatening to yeet themselves as something no scum would do when u know that is dumb on the surface of saying.

on one hand I like the vote on gamestop because there is something wonky in gypyx/gamestop/elon/mistyx but on the other hand every time Molla has ever lynched me in a game its usually been based on "gut".
