TNKorina ISO #0 - #10 is being ommitted as it appears to be written in RVS.
This post is claimed later by TNKorina to be an ability.

I already used one with the dayvig, but I'm not gonna say the effect because that would ruin it.
Second, I can claim masons with anyone and get a PT with them for the night.
Third I can make anyone hated for the rest of the day.
I can only use one per day.
Which has a benefit

If you use an ability that appears to be a dayvig, the intention is that the person your using it on dies.
In post 685, Totally Not Korina wrote:I cannot confirm the effect of it. I also cannot say what the effect of it is, because that would ruin the entire point of me using it.
Also ???
This is just a cop-out of having to actually explain anything, when people already find you scummy.
Maybe because if I say the ability, it completely ruins the entire point of using it on them?
It's like saying "Oh, I'm a doctor, and I'm going to heal X".
Scum are just going to not shoot X then.
I cannot say what the ability is because then the entire point of using it is wasted.
Now, I don't know if that's true, but let's assume that it is, for the sake of Argument:
I see 3 possibilities:
- The ability should be used on town (In which case, TNKorina used it on someone they appear to have no read on)
- The ability can be used on anyone (Why wouldn't you disclose what it is? If it's an investigative like ability, You should have probably saved it for later in the day for a better target than a random)
- The ability should be used on scum (In which case, TNKorina used it on someone they appear to have no read on)
There may be another possibility I'm missing here, but as far as I'm aware these are the 3 main categories of targets the ability should have.
I've contingently listed why I think taking that choice would either be scummy or nonsensical.

I'm assuming you mean
500. We'll get to that later.
These both feel like continuing from
269, setting up a "I almost never get correctly read" narrative.
In post 341, Totally Not Korina wrote:So, I'm going to be honest, I really don't have much motivation to play this game atm. It just kinda feels like we never really hit out of RVS for me atm. Can someone explain the current wagons for me? I would read the thread back, but I'm about to sleep because I'm tired, and can't be bothered atm.
I feel like this is a terrible post in light of their supposed ability (
123). I don't see any town-motivated reasoning behind using an ability in what you perceive to be RVS.
In post 496, OMGUS wrote:I'm a Town Flagbearer
If I ever die, town loses the game... instantly. Keep me alive at all costs.
This does feel like genuine town concern, but at the same time it feels too naive.
In light of (
689), this could also be manufactured confusion:
In post 689, Totally Not Korina wrote:This is fakeclaim mafia. My abilities do not correspond with the presumed action.
Fark did not die when I "dayvig'd" them, so it's clearly not a dayvig. The fact you're trying to push me for something that has clearly not been that is weird.
@Fark, I absolutely will tomorrow. My abilities are limited to one per day. In theory, we could just not have the thread locked if everyone claims masons with me and Fark tomorrow, when I use it.
The underlined text shows that TNKorina understands that they can reasonably expect players (including town players) to lie or give false information (either intentionally or unintentionally) in this game.
ISO #17 is being ommitted
In post 499, Totally Not Korina wrote:Also, while I'm here, let me get all my games to show you that every single game I can remember, where I was town, I got scumread at the start.
First of all, why would you include a game where you were scum? That is irrelevant to the purpose of showing us games where you were scumread as town.
Second of all, this plays into the narrative of you being incorrectly read all the time, but why leave out the other games you played? Why not list all the games you remember, to leave behind an unbiased view of your play? I looked into your- sorry, Korina's User page and found their played games (I'm only counting games where they used the username Korina) and I found that you have underrepresented your played games.
Note, the played games section hasn't been updated since 12/24/19
Out of all the games listed, the earliest one appears to be
Mini Theme 2100, and the lastest one listed on the page appears to be... not listed. Yeah, can you throw a Boot at Korina's ass and tell them to update the damn thing already?
Anyway, out of the 5 most recent (from Mini Theme 2100) non-"ongoing" games, you were town in 5 of them. If I grant that the 2 games you listed were added into this sample (totaling 7 games in total, and making this even more biased), you were scumread 3/7 times. Admittedly, that is a bad ratio, but all that suggests is that you tend to be unreadable, not that you tend to be scumread as town, and townread as scum.
ISO #20 is being ommited.

Looking back at this, why would you not have saved your mystery ability in favor of any of the others? I guess you can't answer that because you can't say what your mystery ability does, so moving on.
In post 683, Totally Not Korina wrote:Honestly feel free to kill me, because I already used my major power for the day, and I don't feel motivated enough to play this game to make use of either of my other powers.
This is just.. ugh. It's anti-town behavior, but it's also nonsensical behavior. I'm not suggesting that you should replace out, but if you don't feel motivated to play the game, then why don't you just replace out?

I had to iso you to actually notice this, didn't remember this at all
I don't believe this is a true dayvig though because it would be terrible
If it has some different effect that you can confirm, you should say it

If you know this is Fakeclaim mafia, then why wouldn't you just.. fakeclaim that you had no abilities today then reveal tomorrow that you did have an ability, and what the results of said ability were? This is why you are scummy. You aren't making any sense whatsoever. You claim that you have an ability which does ???, and it's apparently beneficial but in a way that the scum can counter, and also you can't confirm the effect of it but "just trust me, you'll know what the effect is tomorrow, I promise
"? This isn't just a red flag, this is six flags.
ISO #25 & #26 are being omitted.
Uhm..

Did you mistype this, or did you mean to say that if you claim masons with someone else, or someone else claims masons with you, then you'll be put in a 1-day PT?

It's like saying "Oh, I'm a doctor, and I'm going to heal X".
Scum are just going to not shoot X then.
I cannot say what the ability is because then the entire point of using it is wasted.
If you were a doctor and you said that you were healing X, you aren't then bound by your words to heal X. Even if you were, it might not be the best strategy, but at the very least you could prevent X from dying at all. Or you might have a redirector throw someone into X and if no one dies the person that the redirector targeted would become a suspect. Or you might be lying about being a doctor and the scum just up and kill you. In any case, the scum don't have much counterplay to killing X. They could roleblock/redirect you, but then they reveal that they have some sort of disruptive role. They could also kill you, but that runs the risk of them killing a non-doctor. In any case, they may have counterplay, but we also have counterplay, especially in this game where there's an air of lying and deception by everyone.
In short: this analogy fails, and you should try again.
In post 703, Totally Not Korina wrote:I will gladly claim the ability tomorrow, provided I do not die, but until then, no. The fact you're trying to push me to claim it, when I feel like me saying "Hey, saying it ruins the point of using it" is scummy.
To take what you said:
Die.
VOTE: Jake
Why would you claim what it does tomorrow? According to you, the scum can counterplay your ability, so unless it's a 1-shot ability (which you haven't mentioned before) the scum could just.. counterplay it the next time.
