A follow-able train of thought is not, I think at least, better than an un-follow-able one.In post 2284, marry wrote:k so the only wagons that aren't me are Nexus and VFP. nexus's iso is largely complaining/shade/one liners, and vfp's push on me looked like it came from at least a follow-able train of thought

Yeah I think this is a good point. Like my sense was that he was claiming an anti-town role and I figured a scum with an anti-town role would just... hide. Like try to avoid attention for as long as possible to be able to use the role for as many nights as possible. But I guess that might not be the case if they'd be narrowed down the next day anyway. In post 2313, Lady Lambdadelta wrote:Him claiming it doesn't make him more townier it makes him NAI for that.
Also I'll say I could kind of vibe a bit with his uncertainty of how to play optimally.
I'm fine with resolving a slot with an anti-town role, it just wasn't my first thought for where scum would be. His other posts felt nullish imo.-

To clarify this, it's not surprising to me that a scum would have such a role. Just that they'd let everyone know about it.In post 2353, joqiza wrote: I'm fine with resolving a slot with an anti-town role, it just wasn't my first thought for where scum would be. His other posts felt nullish imo.-

So less "I have reasons to scumread Nexus" and more "I have reasons to townread people other than Nexus"?In post 2344, DeasVail wrote:Out of the wagons going right now, Nexus feels the most likely to flip scum. While the others have points in their favour that I feel make them town, Nexus has just been... there. I don't confidently believe him to be scum, but it's the sort of situation where I feel like that's possible, whereas I am less convinced by the other wagons.
I would consider a VFP vote maybe though.-

maybe you misunderstand me? i dont really get what that means. VFP had reasoning for fosing me, they fought for it a bit and explained. i didn't think any of it was necessarily scummy so i dont really understand what your statement isIn post 2351, Bell wrote:

I always thought that report button was for egregious behavior, like, ban on the spot type stuff. In post 2345, gorilla wrote:As a general announcement: in the future if you believe someone is acting inappropriately toward another player, please just report the posts and move on. Thanks.
(I'm not arguing the severity of inappropriateness of anyone's behavior in this game, just giving what I thought that button was for.)
I'll do so accordingly in the future.-

This is the right attitude to have. It's no worry sweating over who to kill - come defcon 1, a lot of people are going to be dying, and I think the first order ought to be getting rid of everyone who doesn't look towny enough. In post 2350, Toogeloo wrote:I could vote for either leading wagon. I checked Robert M Hunter's games and he's capable of much more as town than what he's done here. I still think there's a decent chance he flips town but can't really shield him on the basis of a (soft)claim alone.
To that end, my "not towny enough" list:
Deathnote (had thought maybe bored town but the first line of 609 pings)
Koto (while possible Merlot's replace out was frustrated town, haven't posted any useful content)
VFP
T3
Robert M Hunter
Nexus
innocentvillager (would not be surprised if prismognet's was also town frustration but expect someone will kill them sooner or later)
Theese people are in my category of "not high posters but towny enough for now":
Toogeloo
Save the Dragons
DesVail
Titus
Do I think all scum is in the low end? No, but I think we clear out that first group and see where we land. I think optimistically we get 2 in that group and then start looking for the harder scum.-

I am town, but don't bother defending me. I was really lost in this setup that everyone is familiar with, so I decided to take a self-sacrificial path. I am the most expendable player in the game.In post 2343, DeasVail wrote:This but I object slightly more because I think Robert's town and I don't like eliminating town?
I'm going to be crushed to lower Lady's Mafia Universe Champion Lifetime Score when I flip town-
