the Kaz wagon seems to boil down to the busywork list, it just feels very easy. yes, objectively the work wasn't all that important, but it didn't take all that much effort, and when i prodded Kaz on it early on i liked the answer about simply looking for some bit of info to bite into. Nero's read on Kaz is the one i like the most, in terms of being developed.

Nope, it does seem a little TMI to me looking at it. The sample PM is also a meerkat who can check for insects, which would imply the abilty to clear if cats are a scum-faction.

xof how does kaz's readlist make you feel

I wrinkled my nose a little, though not super much. Nero town read I agree on. I can see the you townlean, you come across a lot more different when you're being schemey and lying. Anya I follow, though I'd put her more into a null box so far. Toadette baffles me, but only because that's a null box. Admittedly, my only experience with Isis has been her as scum so far as I recall so I could just be watching her slot that much harder. unwnd is fine to be townlean, I feel that. Flowtrap is definitely a box of confusion, that's fine. Andante I feel good about, but this is also just fluff interactions were fun and I always like fun. And her reactions to people questioning her also feel totally in line with what I'd expect. Dwlee doesn't feel confusing to me? Hell i'd put them in slight townread box. I think how they've questioned people feels the way I'd expect town to go about it, doesn't feel like any bonkers reaches are happening, there's room for them to be wrong. Beeboy as scum is a bad read. Mans has one post, and it's one that makes sense. It would be one thing if this was like 4 RL days into Day 1 and he still had one or two posts. This is not that. Even given the assumption he won't play hard if scum, which I sure hope that's not actually a real thing he actually does cuz that's very =/, we're not even 24 hours into the game. This read can chill. kdowns also makes no sense to me as a scumread. He's barely got any posts, and feels like the ones he has given are all in line with a typical amount of engagement? idk, I don't get that one. Pooky as a gut read, sure I can't question gut reads too hard as a person who almost solely plays by them, but like Pooky's just been stuffed of fluff so far, I don't put too much into that.

I don't want to play hero or seem like I need to defend people but Andante being called scum is baffling. I think people are really annoyed about her spam and think maybe she just has nothing to say, yet I see a lot of method into it. You could even compare and contrast this thought as to why I didn't like Kaz. Andante sees something she doesn't like and much like a dog starts barking at trouble. Kaz however sits back and uses opposable thumbs to make Pro/Anti lists that generate no purpose beyond discussing a potential what-if topic. What if scum are anti-posters? What if town are pro-posters? Who knows. Even he himself initially said 'will this help anyone? probably not'

First off, I appreciate your response Nero. I don't disagree with your mentality but the situation to me is a bit different. You could say my reason to be so adamantly against Andante is that I think at worst she's limbait. That in it's essence is effecting how I am reading Andante as well, and why I wanted to talk about potential bussers. I don't do and say things without there being some underlying purpose. I mentioned the idea because a decent fraction of people who are currently voting her I dislike. Two of them being exclusively Norwee and Farkran. Is there some world that exists where (Norwee/Farkran) both see Andante is causing a scene and feel obligated to vote their partner who is simply making them look worse while reaping the spoils of sweet towncred? Sure possibly. I'm not against the situation just because two people I scumread are on it. I'm against the situation because I think they're more deserving of attention. It doesn't take a keen eye to look at Andante's content and go 'wow yeah she sure posts a lot and doesn't explain herself!' That's a level zero commitment and I was getting tired of hearing about it. Andante could again be scum and it'd just be playing into the hands of her teammates none the less.

So I also wanted to talk about Fark/Norwee while I was here because I'm not going to try and mislead you. I just want to say that Farkran's approach to me is sensible. I do like it in a vacuum but the effort also feels intentional on his part. I think this is about once or twice now that he's just said 'oh well we so disagree but like you're still town' and I think I got it the first time? Fark why are you so worried if I disagree with you that seems to be a common topic. That isn't the main reason I'm concerned about you but it just seems like you're trying to silence a potential lead while alleviating my own concern as if to show you're not a bad guy. Credit due, I do like that you said 'maybe it's just a D1 Large and he's having trouble' or something to that degree. I could be having trouble but I'm not going to let that stop me because there's still 24 people to get through I suppose. Now, am I saying that you and Norwee have to be together for reasons that I've yet to detail? Not necessarily, but I think what I get of Norwee in the games I've played with him is two things: He loves to be town. When he isn't town, he isn't. This isn't the first game I was able to catch him because I think he fits the mold for a very common meta trait that happens these days, and it's the hyperposty aggro fun kind. There are no traits of that distinguished here and I think at worst he's trying to latch onto you and familiar people to try and skirt by. Generally speaking I also dislike the choices he's made thus far and believe they're worth scrutiny. It's two things and I believe you two (heh) are acting weirdly aligned in a way that shouldn't be if you're both just uninformed town.
