Hmmm, okay

Gonna put my thoughts in a spoiler to try not to influence what y’all think:

Spoiler:

first thought is WAKE seems likely, as a duck leaves a wake behind it when swimming

Close behind is BALL followed by BAT and BOLT as things you would probably want to duck under

FRANCE also seems viable as last game we talked about how eating duck is sophisticated and I think it’s something they cook in France

Last thoughts are that maybe it could be PHOENIX or EAGLE due to the bird connection

I’d encourage people to only comment after forming their own impressions of the grid

EAGLE is a lock since it's a bird; PHOENIX is also possible for the same reasons. BATs can also fly.

"Duck" was chosen over any other type of bird so we have to look at the alternate meaning of duck. "Duck" is one of the Five D's in the game of dodgeBALL.

Nothing else jumps out as instantly obvious.

As a noun, a duck can be similar to an EAGLE and a PHOENIX.

As a verb, duck connects to BALL, BAT, and BOLT.

I think our best bet to start is Eagle or Ball
