VOTE: Ydrasse for having a name that consists of one capital letter followed by six lowercase letters. Now that's scummy.

I know no one wants to rehash this but wanting to be elected because of an acquittal doesnt really make sense. If you are acquitted of a crime nothing happens to you that isnt a reward

I might think someone else was caught for the wrong reasons here but idk prism seems to get tilted off the planet over nothing every time I see him (sorry)

In either scenario we shouldn't give the throne to someone who is campaigning for it.
My experience with that type of mechanic is that scum usually fail to really and take advantage of it

same here! let's do a popcorn back-and-forth question/commentary game!

It seems like your interest in the thread waned when you saw the
GammaVPrism
altercation round 1000. Has any of their own posts helped inform you on their alignment?
i think it would be fair to say i never had a ton of interest in the thread to begin with (i am quite excited about the game, but haven't found much of the thread interesting yet. i expect this will change eventually.), but it's also true that arguments with 7000 layers tend to especially bore me.

i still lean towards gamma being scum here. i think his pooky vote was nonsense, his tilting seemed a little scummy to me, i think several times he has thrown out votes in a weak attempt to distract from himself, and he's just acting strange overall, which makes him a good place for my vote right now as I have 0 other suspects. the fact that he's obviously losing the argument i don't care so much about -- i know that some players are just not as good at 1v1s and being one of those myself i can sympathize. but, i'm not sure i see a sense that he believes in the points he's making, which i do care about.

incidentally, (this one is an ATE, so you can tell) this is my third game with approximately this group of people and i've been a perennial suspect each time so i'm starting to feel like yall just don't understand me

if you want to make an apology, apologize for your actions, not for the other person's feelings, imo.

if you can't do that, you probably aren't sorry and i don't think there's too much value in an insincere apology

just leash him to me, at this point.

just end this day and kill me next if it flips town. my only hope of survival at this point is that gamma is clearly not my partner, everyone is set on it already anyway.

I haven't been paying a lot of attention but do you have anything to point to that isn't while gamma has been really close to an elimination anyway?
i mean if you think he writes that "bad faith" post about his partner i can't help you.

I think it's weird that they said that but I don't see it as a slam dunk unaligned case. I think it is weird that you are indicating that it is.

Well, is there anything you think u should be townread for here?
Also this is like weirdlu nihilistic (not sure actually if that's the right word. But like you're willing to die to prove that you're town and make some grand broader point. Which as i write this out i realize is actually p different from radio buzz and might be +town tbh)
i'm not sure if i've done anything i couldn't fake yet. i might argue that figuring that out is y'all's job.

it's unfortunate that accepting death is a towntell, but it probably is

There was valid points in the thing infinity brought up but the only takeaway Cephrir cared about was the one that made me look worse.
There’s probably other posts I can point to that weakly support this feeling but idc to hunt them down when I know the kicker is right here.
uhhh wait hold on a second i completely missed this post

i was just trying to explain what infinity was saying because ulyana didn't understand it... what an absolutely bonkers take it's like you didn't even read the conversation

? if town!infinity, why would she worry that arguments she is making were similar to arguments she made when she was mafia?

like if town she knows she is making the argument without knowledge of gamma's alignment in this case, right, so she'd now have realized that the argument she was making that she presumably believes in was similar to one she made that she did not believe in on account of being mafia so she stopped?

this does not make a lot of sense to me
In post 619, Cephrir wrote:i think the more relevant thing is that gamma was mafia in this situation
like, shiki's question had to do with inifinity's thought process, she didn't seem particularly interested in what it meant for me; you, however, instantly latched onto the underlying implication that because infinity was seeing stuff from my scum meta I had to be scum
that's not honest engagement imo
you're wrong.

i was not calling you scum with that post.

infinity was defending you for reasons that she also used when she was your scumbuddy.

she was also using those reasons in this game.

hence, she had realized that it was likely NAI.

ulyana did not understand this.

i'll concede that my intentions were unclear there, as much as gamma is not making me want to reconsider at all.

it comes nowhere close to justifying 672 even so, so i don't think i super care
