Actually, it's interesting you say this. I mentioned this in 741, but it's been a common defense in this game so far to defer to their meta being the same as the reason people are actively scum hunting them.

You're an obvious case so I won't tell you what you already know.

I was the meta defender of Val against you so also won't delve into that.

T3, for the brief wagon that it was, mentioned this in 70 (kinda) and 107.

Alice, although not a defense, mentioned it in 693.

Toxic is a weird case because there is only one defense and it's the in meta sense of "the only scum thing I've done is doing nothing" 796, and 797.

What I find interesting about it is that while doing some digging, even with Toxic, I don't think they're wrong. Of course, I don't have the meta knowledge of being there during the games I looked at, so I'm always willing to be corrected. Alice, i think, I looked at the least so my argument is more malleable with her.

The reason my PoS is on you specifically as my strongest scum read has nothing to do with post count. I don't trust how you want to rush d1 (816), I don't trust how you seem to take a personal reading of the game, I really really don't trust 885, 887, and I absolutely do not like 896.

Most importaintly, I feel you are misdirecting the town but that's a more abstract argument to make and I have to leave but I wanted to at least post this. I can't speak for anyone else but for me I'm not defending low posters for doing that but I have suspicion on you and your play this game.

I agree, but I think posting things like "I’m gone.", which reads very much like the text equivilent of storming out and slaming the door, almost certainly qualifies.

I get the feel that Norwee has been trying to exploit pre-exisiting relationships, as have others, and I'm not going to critise or draw conclusions on that alone. The clique-building alongside the insulting and disparageing the play of the 'newbies', while he claims that is his playstyle, has clear scum utility however. Even so, while I don't think I was the audiance for that post, I had a bit of a 'woah' moment to it.

There was, however, no reason why, if its a town!Norwee and a Toxic lim is 'objectively' better, why stating those reasons in lieu of that post would not have been the better option. I think we

dealing with a scum!Norwee, I think a flip there is our best play for today, and while I am likley to treat anything presented with a healthy dose of skeptism, I'm not about to discount anything out of hand either. Okay. Finally got the chance to dive deeper and do some ISO'ing and make a proper post.

I did not like Post 236 and Norwee's tagging on in 238. This feels like scum trying to control the narrative. I feel like this is going overlooked way too much. Town has no business telling other people what they are allowed to comment on. I harshly criticize the attempt at stifling conversation and opposing viewpoints. 324 rubbed me wrong too and helped spur my vote. That was all I had at the time based on treading water keeping up with the thread and gut feelings.

Since then Val has confirmed town and every bit of what Norwee wanted to be sarcastic defensiveness is now hedgy defensiveness.

431 is a clear attempt at starting another wagon once the viability of Val was smothered. In 585 now I'm suddenly a scummy slot?

I’ve pushed Val for an legitimate reason and unvoted even before he claimed PR. Meanwhile scummy slots have TMI’d him town and

forced this perspective of: "scum in one of Norwee/Val" to get town onto the wrong path

, helped along by Val’s failure to properly get scumreads and tunneling/OMGUS tendencies.
