Is this the only thing that's pinged you about Alice, or is there other things and that's just what tipped you over to vote?

Gamma has promised us a towncase; I've seen a few little things that ping me, but I do worry that Joylne has just posioned the challaice, and I might just be seeing things because I'm expecting to see them. As I said before, I can't really evaulate if there was anything to Jolynes read here at the time it was given if they don't want to explain it, and it's always possible they just pulled it out of nowhere. I don't really want to outline a case myself, because it's all too easy for people to take it, given I'm confirmed town, and go "yeah, that's exactly what I am seeing".

I'm not really seeing the thing with Alice. They got mislimmed day one in the last game I played with them, and I didn't find them particularly scummy there or here. Would rather kill toxic here

@DArby; what do you think of Alice thus far?

I was actually going to make an Alice post last night but 961 made no fucking sense to me but I still read it as town so I dropped it.

I’m on mobile before work so bare with me here but on further thinking I don’t like any of these wagons here for the same meta argument I’ve pointed out twice now. That includes Alice. Redtea made the Meta Argument in 1066 for Norwe and Dwlee for Alice in 1077. I cannot independently verify until midterms are over tho :/

That being said, I do townlean Alice so far and I’m starting to be of the opinion all of these wagons are to town. I dunno what to do about it except go after the scummiest of the lot since there’s only 2 days or so left and see how they flip. Then again, I’m biased against newbie 2080 so there’s that.

I do think Marci is wrong, tho. Alice’s 1074 is a correct statement and I see Alice’s posting as unfortunate timing. Out of all wagons mentioned (norwee, toxic, T3, Alice), Alice is the least interesting wagon to me.

You policy lim these kind of players and I think the only reason why we are not doing that is that there will be a replacement who can make slot more readable.

I think Jolyne is town for this. They did a very similar thing in Purgatory when they townslipped but then admitted they didn't read the setup to make them have a higher chance of townslipping and this is reminding me of that.

"Didn't read the setup" townslip is very dangerous as it is easy too fake.

I think one of the few posts that pinged me as sus earlier is Alice’s: "T3 is being voted a lot, is there an meta reason for that?" post.

I see your point. I agree however I have a gut feeling that T3 is town and we should look somewhere else.

Trying to make better wagons happen, that's a town move imo, scum would tend to be indifferent to some degree (town can be too but I'm saying being picky about wagons is a towntell, that doesn't mean vice versa)

Not much yet. My belief is that people like norwegianboyee you caught in a later stage of the game as they are not doing many mistakes early. Nevertheless, I think in this game he is in "solving" attitude much earlier, so I would say a slight town-lean.

this feels like a very long-term-minded approach to norwee, which I think is town-indicative because scum would want to keep options open.

The past 13 pages are exhausting. If I were Val and scum in this situation, I'd be giving some better replies, though. Town is looking for an excuse to lim him and the chip on the shoulder attitude might just be it. I think scum Val would realize this and not be so standoffish.

That's not quite valid. You assume that as Town he would not try to get out of bad situation. Of course you may say there is more Townies than Mafia (more spare parts ), but still it doesn't mean that a one would just give up.

It's not Val post what you should look at.
Also it is not clear for me what DArby's alignment is, but there are better options for today.

Val was in quite bad spot. I don't think the low posting scum, would jump into the thread to provide arguments against elimination.

I think I've made a mistake here. If we are talking about red!Toxic clearing Norwee, I've been sat here stewing on a reason why I thought that wasn't the case, but when I've come to explain it in response to this, I realise I have credited toxic in my mind with saying something early while I was still the push; and it turns out it didn't actually come from toxic.

So, yeah, I messed up that one up. I'm going to go back and check the rest of my work and make sure I've not falsely attributed anything else.

At the end of the day, though, I still feel like a toxic flip is much more likley to flash green, and so even if there was something to learn from a red!toxic flip, it's fairly academic in nature. I am now coming round to why people think that assocative is there, though, particulary if we are probably dealing with 2 or 3 scum.
