I’m not sure how to feel about this post, but the thought process is interesting that “scum is probably lurking” but “the game is one dimensional now”.

I don’t think they’re really correlated. But it’s framed as if it should be(?)

I’m really tired so I can’t word what I’m feeling too well but this is what I’m getting from the logic:

No, the game just sort of gravitated towards that frame of mind once I pointed it out, and when I indicated that I thought the way the game was going was oddly one-track, the general response was agreement despite the first causing the second.

"Push" is a generous term.

I think it's... well I don't think he's making much of an effort to engage with me or understand my point of view. Which is bad, but he has limited bandwidth and this is a loaded playerlist, so I don't blame him for focusing his mental energy elsewhere.

But it doesn't exactly make me feel secure, because I have the charisma of a limp mushroom. If a wagon developed on me then pretty much anyone here could bury me if they so desired, and there isn't much I could do about it if I didn't have the support of people like him.

i agree - i havent said much because im not quite sure what to say that actually is of any substance. nothing in particular has jumped out at me as something i should push a slot for, and nobodys made a reasonably strong push to begin with so im not quite sure what to do

To me it still feels that we're getting off the ground.

It's more the order of events that are striking me as very odd. There's been a lot of talk about reading people in the game so far (at least relative to its length), but the moment I come in and say that I think most of the scum are in the less active players, the game just... follows along?

Even if there was a general consensus regarding this already, the fact that multiple people are getting the same sense about the game at that point as me and yet still following along that track is... disturbing.

Something about that doesn't ring genuine to me at all.

i think that activity is a particularly shit indicator of alignment, unless over the course of weeks - and even then, it's reasonably justifiable by real life. ive had a quite shit past 48 hours work-wise, so that's partly why i haven't written much. my work schedule is completely independent of alignment, and i would imagine so is everyone else's so i think this is a particularly weak pseudo-group-push sorta thing

if anything rings ingenuine to me, that's this post here
