Now that everybody has checked in at least once, this slot has had the worst entrance of every slot so far.

I don't really understand why you think their posts are scummy.

It is exactly the type of post that I would expect many players to make as mafia if they aren't entirely comfortable playing as such.

Plus, the post by Noctyrnia he is referencing is an entirely fair reaction to the way the game is playing out currently. Much of the game up to this point is fairly meaningless due to it.

Checks out, I just think odds are that the fun fake masons have been referenced in the scum thread for other reasons before. If not, then your logic makes more sense here. I already townread Laplacian for taking the gambling suggestion at game start head on though.

it's fine if you don't believe this but I think I don't enjoy playing town very much after this last break anymore. So..hm, I'm kinda bored out of my mind at the moment in this game, that's why there's so much fluff/spam as well early on. Maybe I'm trying hard to convince myself I can still enjoy playing this at the moment...

I don't know, I feel like I got less competitive as a person recently but that also means a lot of my old motivation of trying to solve the game as a "puzzle" is gone, so now what is fun to me is...running that kind of weird ideas/plans/schemes, or joking around in-thread. That's why I kinda got annoyed when people instantly "noped out" of even superficially engaging with my idea with a "we're only do serious business here sir" stance. Either way my meta change will become clear/verified once this game is over I suppose.

not just "money online fast", we could also send him a tutorial of "how to become a millionaire in those simple 5 steps" or something, and redirect him to some of our adfly links by the end. It's pocket money compared to some of our other scams but we should start slow while introducing him to this side of the business no?
