Math tries to distract with setup solving as scum. If he's not legit pushing reads and is instead playing like, "if X is true, then Y must be the scum, but if X is not true, it might be Z," then I'd say Math is Mafia. He does a lot of busy work that doesn't actually solve anything in order to look like he's trying.

But if Math is actually pushing reads with reasons why he's pushing those reads, there is a good chance he's town.

If I were town in that position, I would probably be doing my best to either convince you to cure me or if that's not possible, at least give town something to analyse after my death.

From my experience, scum is more likely to fight their impending doom than town. I couldn't give two shots if people wanty death as town, but as scum I try to avoid being in that position to begin with.

I don't think a Poisoner claim by itself flies, and sounds better if you say you can clear it. So he probably just rolls with it. It's a wifom argument regardless though. Maybe it makes less sense to you, so maybe it makes more sense to do it because why would scum do it?

It's not worth thinking about the why of the claim itself and just judge the actions and motivations of it instead.

My townblocing was good. I was disappointed by both end of day 2 and 3. MegA should have never been eliminated Day 2, and I don't even know what to say about Day 3.

The popularity of GIM and every other game in the genre disagrees with you.

I think it more apt to say, people don't like swingy games when it takes them by surprise. I expect GIM to be ridiculous.

For me personally, good balance means town probably fucks up a couple times in the beginning of a game but can bring the game around and even out in the mid game, and then the end game is a horse race.

Having scum in control for day play requires good night play by town and bad night play by scum in order to stay balanced, which is a harder to achieve.
