like, stop me stop me, oh stop me if I'm wrong

but it seems like this boils down to

Norwee: I have a serious read/conviction that you're scum but the
manner
in which I'm pushing it means that it can be characterised as light-hearted

malc: if you push someone that is aimed at affecting the outcome of the game and is by definition not something that can be lighthearted, therefore you're being contradictory

I think this probably comes down to malc being a newer player vs norwee having been around for a while
"we knew everything... And we knew nothing."

I'm also curious about that. I don't know if Tracer Bullet always plays like this, but I don't think there's been anything to townread in their play so far, and personally I find it a bit suspicious.

also, for the record I agree with norwee -- you can push something in a light-hearted way while still genuinely believing in it and I don't think there's a contradiction there. it's about building a bit of pressure vs trying to make sure someone bites the dirt

pedit: pure toneread, although if they're Koba which is a maybe then they go back into null

I also accused you of being contradictory with your characterization of your push as both memey and serious, and at different times expecting Malcolm to read it as both ways and criticizing him for not doing so. Does that affect your read on me, or does that only matter when it's someone you already suspect?

I think it’s an very odd thing to focus on. Why does this at all matter?
Do you think scum are more likely to play in this way, and if so why?
Norwe is spontaneous, has a stream-of-consciouness posting style, usually posts on catch-ups by commenting on past pages posts, gets rather fired up in certain moments in games, is relatively as playful as me in games and likes casual shitposting

Potentially, yes, although I'm not so sure in this case. It felt like you kept moving the goalposts for how Malcolm should be interpreting your push, in a way that looked intentional to make him look bad or appear as the wrong one in the argument. It's possible that you were trying to increase the pressure on someone that you think is scum in order to catch them in a mistake, but the way you approached the conversation felt slightly more likely to be something scum would do.

flavor leaf is just gut i know he hasn't done much but i think i have a lot of other targets i'd rather vote for over him today

cassowary - besides the prodding of Sword of Ducks i really liked some of her posts for town looking back i'm not as impressed but i still think again as with flavor leaf there's just enough there to make me want to vote out a slew of other people over her
