The most persuasive case is usually a short case. To butcher an old adage, the more you have to explain the less persuasive you are and it's easier to find one detail to disagree and get people to confbias. The last word syndrome basically is a bias that if you just say one magical thing, then the other person will be persuaded. Most everyone is caught up in that here.

The best example of recent case communication (although not great) is myself and Koba. We disagree with each other but we understand each other and I feel that's a good foundation to start from. I feel that, if I could get a confident enough foothold with refreshed information, that I could discuss some reads like butter with them (I think that's the right pronoun).

This thread has largely lost that ability due to the rehash. I wanted to test partner scenarios and that's out.

The behavior has also lead to a suboptimal gamestate, even if we eliminate catboi's slot which individually helps me in the future. Whoever loses will feel completely left out. Part of this toxic standoff could have been avoided if people could get or force the non voters to contribute. That's impossible as town and scum would have difficulties catching up in this gamestate.

This lead to foreclosing the best collective elimination of Meg today. We have a solidish town core with most agreeing (even if they feel each other is a pain in the ass) on members minus 1 or 2 on the outskirts. If this group could have worked together, we could have swung a Meg elimination that would have made a multitude of people happy for a multitude of reasons. Even if one or two of the town core was scum, distancing from Meg there was easy as no one would move to lim there given the toxic gamestate.

So the question becomes, why didn't I quote everyone's agreement and push the elimination? To be frank, everyone's sick of this day. Sometimes cohesion requires giving up on what I think is the most optimal play.

I am going to single you out a bit, despite you being my strongest P
TR. Your hyper posting regarding catboi drowned out a lot of discussion, including things that I wanted to do. This is very distespectful to your townreads and is borderline arrogant. Given you said you're self aware, then you should know that a town leader should look to get the best from their townreads. This ain't it.

It also lets catboi obscure reads if scum because anyone would be pissed off at the severity of the tunnel. It drowns out other things to read as well to help get reads or force catboi to give them as scum. It cuts off people from reading catboi independently. My by play read on catboi hasn't really evolved since before I was wagoned because of the impossible communication when I got back from work.

I can't even scumread the requests to vig you because this reminds me of civilization. I had to actually advocate for a vig/lim on my own slot to try and save town cohesion. It makes total sense for town to want you dead to communicate and scum to want you dead for being obvious town.

The fact you still play in such an anti-town manner is extremely frustrating. I have skimmed over a good chunk of your posts and missed things due to your hyperposting.
