Not once have I ever said that a vanilla cop gets a different kind of result when targeting me. I've said the opposite, that all cops get normal results when targeting me. A hirsute is not vanilla, so I would show up as not vanilla, which is not a helpful result.

So it's technically possible to hunt for "Wolf/Not Wolf" if you compare someone else with Wolf Miller, but why don't check masons/monks/just someone else instead is another question.

I hard disagree with this. Mafia is a social game, and you have to be able to read the room in order to get things done. If no one thinks you are town, then people will just roll their eyes any time you post, and gravitate towards the players they think are the most town.
