To me, the reason it felt like shutting down discussion is that I think your post implied the concept of scumreading Isis this early is somehow impossible or unreasonable to do.
You weren’t questioning the reasoning behind the read, you weren’t taking a stance regarding that read.
It was just “hey, do you reaaaaally think you can catch Isis that early? Is that reaaaally reasonable?”
and I don’t think that’s a question a townie asks to make the game progress; so I don’t think it was asked in good faith.

I think your reasoning makes sense in a vacuum but last time I played with GL I played pretty well [green, but still], if I'm recalling games in order, so with that tint of glasses on I'm not concerned.
Like if he sees me as a strong player then an overconfident solve based on a small amount of content might seem like antitown spotlight control for the game.
