Oh, Xayah had Don as one of her top two town in 602. Maybe she thought that with the late push on Galron on top of that, they were obvtown. I was still hesitant there so it's possible she misjudged how people were reading the slot (or maybe everyone else knew they were town and I just didn't see it )

I disagree with this - I feel like she was pushing us two from basically the beginning and I can sort of see scum her not wanting to change course, even in the run-up to a scumflip, which I think would look more suspicious and she would see that. If that makes sense.

After rereading I don't think Meg's treatment of galron is super strange. Like okay I get the instinct to say scum probably bussed, and it's a possibility with nothing to rule it out, but Meg consistently shades Galron for being inactive and later jumps on him when it seems like that wagon's taking off, which like, I can see that coming from town I think?

You're right, I did mention on the previous page that I was starting to lean towards Galron. I still don't think it was at all a foregone conclusion, though, if he had showed up at all and started posting he could have survived. You were also a possible elim while scamper was pushing you, which he was doing at the time, Don was pushing Ausuka, and Ari was still on her Datisi/Ausuka theory.

I don't see why scum xayah changing one read would mean she couldn't decide to keep another constant? I also think it's a fairly required progression for her to have as either alignment because it's super weird to townread Galron when he clearly wasn't doing anything. I don't think that discredits the idea that she was looking to generally speaking not change course in the direction she was pushing.

The reason I was townreading meg is probably bad

At the time I was scumreading Ari and thought since meg was the only one who could see that her push on me was empty they were probably town. While I think it's more likely scum pushes on the Ausuka side of the equation, I can see why for scum Meg who had already pushed Ari, it would make sense to take advantage of our argument to continue doing so. I think this is a point I can't really achieve clarity about because my emotions and perspective cloud my perception of the argument I had with Ari and especially how people responded to it.

Back when i was still inexperienced i rolled scum in a newbie game. It was going very well and i was universally townread. I was also doing jackshit to help town, so win win for me. Then someone started tunneling on me for reasons i thought were complete bullshit (didnt recheck it to see if it was, i just remember being pissed about it). And he just would not let go of his tunnel on me. At that time, i was furious not just because he was right on me being scum, but because his argument made no sense and he just got a lucky guess. So we went on a tirade that was very childish of me but was still genuine, and i came out of it being townread even more. The reason was everyone thought my anger was genuine, which it was, so it made me town.

When you overlay my example with her case, it fits somewhat. Shes getting pissed because someone she views as coasting through the day without giving any effort now finds her suspicious. Shes getting angry at being scumread, but moreso by being scumread specifically by meg. I think scum!ari would believe meg doesnt deserve to have the correct read, just like i thought in my game.

I will not lynch aris replacement today, and my read wont carry over to her replacement. I wanted to point this out for anyone tring her for this reason.

you can ague that in a generalized case tilt is not always scum-indicative but in particular the way ari went off is just not scum-indicative, because in between the insults she was making criticism of megs logic that were basically entirely valid

in fact this is pretty lazy shorthand to just go anger=scum

posts like this feel like theyre trying to undermine the possibility of people clearing ari for tilt when that was a view that was starting to get vocalized, like he doesnt want a potential miselim to slip away

Assume Scum!scamper for this.

Scamper would want to avoid a galron lim. (Wagon wasnt far but existed)
These posts would imply trying to do one of three things.
1. Trying to discredit Don.
2. Trying to apply momentum to a potential don wagon against galron.
3. Trying to set up don for a future miselim.
This would imply scamper thought don was mislimmable. Why then would they kill don? Doesn't make much sense.

Ergo scamper is probably town.

My instinct is to say that it wasn't super obvious Galron would die and that after Galron's flip Done was kind of like, heavily townspewed by the way Galron treated that slot. I pointed that out at the end of the day, which like obviously my reads aren't amazing but I think that would reinforce the view in mafia that Done wasn't a miselim option after Galron's flip. I think I could see scum scamper pushing Done there?
