I still think the kill is WIFOM and the "omg Ari is dead so her reads must have been AMAZING!" is exactly what scum were going for but maybe I'm just wrong and they were good.

I wouldn't say I'm tunneled? I am aware there is a very good chance Datisi is town. I think
1) nobody else is really going to give Datisi any scrutiny if I don't do it
2) I have in fact been thinking about other slots in the game and there isn't any one in particular that stands out as a good push to me right now.

I have been giving arguments for why Datisi is suspicious. Last time you talked to me you mischaracterised my arguments as saying Datisi is scum because VPB pushed him which obviously is not the case. I'm open to dropping this but I don't know why you'd expect "datisi is town" to convince me?

I mean the whole point of what I'm saying is - I don't know - like if I had people I wanted to push I'd do it! I'm not only pushing Datisi because I'm super confident he's scum or something, I have nowhere else I want to push. Do you think I'm pushing the most charismatic player in the game because I think it's fun or easy?

i have a new read that may or may not be insane: there is 1-2 scum in {dann, fireisredsir}

ok because nobody wants to play along:

vp has a meta of pushing competing wagons as town. i think fireisredsir is one of the first people that noted it back in ktane.

vp was obviously not mimicking that meta here, with dann/conman. question is why

one possibility is that dann is scum, which sure, i guess explains that. but if dann/con are t/t, why wouldn't vp baltar push for that and mimick his town meta, while knowing fire (who is keenly aware of that) is in the game?

(yes ik this goes against my earlier theory of dann being town and it's not something i'm ~super~ confident in, but food for thought?)

serious answer is i think vp has a kind of short memory for games and doesn't really think about who caught him on what mistakes in previous situations

it's just so counterintuitive to me when being awkward around it would just put dann in MORE danger, but sth sth scum doesn't always play optimally
