I will say that the presence of a gunsmith means the clear on datisi is not as strong as it was without that information. When I mod gunsmith I try to put in scum roles that don't have a gun so its not a full clear. I have no idea if doing that is normal or not.

It is; scum doc doesn't have a gun. And with two vigis (and a universal backup) and a gunsmith, scum doc is entirely plausible.
