Fwiw I am more inclined to put random thoughts in the hood than I otherwise would be due to the post limit. Otherwise I would have said it's probably +scum to solve mostly in a good, where you need to fool fewer people. As is, I think it depends on the person.

I'm not normally one to use PT's heavily but boy howdy if there were ever a time to start, it would be right now.
(I have actually had good neighborhoods before, it's pretty rare, but I have high hopes for this one.)

I'll say that I instantly trust Datisi, catboi, and Dannflor; none of them are going to be scum.

The instant vibes on page one were pure.

It wasn't until you posted that I saw possible scum.

Does that mean you are scum?

Well no.

It's just that you're not the instatown that the other three are.
(Admittedly I count myself among the not instatown, but with luck, I can show I'm town with time.)

If there's scum in here (which statistically there should be), I know it's not me and I trust all of Dann/Datisi/catboi, so that'd leave the scum as the only one I don't trust.

But there's no guarantee of scum in here.

there are traditionally 4 clans in the books if i remember correctly?

In the first books, it was Thunder, River, Wind, and Shadow if I recall correctly.

But I only read the first two or three, the rest of my knowledge is vague tvtropes knowledge.

I believe there's a villainous split-off clan, mostly from the shadow clan but also with the villainous parts of the thunder clan, but I don't really know the details there.

None of the clans are purely heroic or villainous, with constantly shifting allegiances. The thunder clan is most consistently the "good" clan (by virtue of being the protagonist's viewpoint), the shadow clan is the most frequent "bad" clan (by virtue of various leaders that give lasting tensions even after being ousted).

I'm the leader of shadow clan and have access to a PT with leaders of the other clans
however we cannot speak with each other until night time so idk how many other leaders there are or who they are

I was thinking that we might be able to use it as an anonymous way of broadcasting the collective thoughts of the shadowclan without outing their members/their sources.

I am less town than you, catboi, or Dannflor who are all very clearly and obviously town.

I know I am town and I am confident that I can show that trait off with time, so while I am the least town of the four members I was referencing at that point, I am confident I will be shown to be town with time since my town and scum games are pretty night/day different. So if I, the person who is definitely going to become obviously town with time, am the

least

town member, then that means we're in for a very good time!

Admittedly, this was pre-S_S entrance, so like. Obviously different story now. My townness right now is comparable to S_S's, but probably

I don't know, to be honest I didn't read the details of the game (Ydrasse probably screaming at me for this, but I'VE BEEN BUSY OKAY; I WILL READ ONCE I GET TO THE MAIN THREAD), but like. My role says I start as an apprentice, with my baby name. I can't use any powers until undergoing the warrior ceremony thingy, per the role PM, but the role PM doesn't give details beyond that. I need to receive it, I don't really know what it is, just that it's there.

Ydrasse accepted my confirmation with me describing it as abilities-locked-until-warrior-ceremony, at the very least.

It's said in my role PM, nothing beyond that is specified. I just know I start as an apprentice, under the baby name for my character. That my abilities are locked until the warrior ceremony is performed on me. I don't have any idea what the warrior ceremony is, just that I can't use my power until it is used on me.
