1. I agree with Dann's points about you, generally

3. Una wagon experiment was over for the moment
4. The lolz

I think the most likely candidates at the mo are, in no particular order:

Moon
Aisa
Una

Can't get a read on Junko yet, or IV for that matter, aside from what I've already said there

I'm feeling as town for now:

Dann
Nona for some reason

I've left somebody off this list... oh it's the Axolotl -- yeah Elements is still kinda null leaning town but it's mostly a tonal read so I'm not putting a whole lot of stock in that really

I should also point out that townbinning Dann for the moment is the life decision I'm most nervous about in this game so far, but day 1 is for making mistakes

In post 338, Nona1510 wrote:Aisa, I would like some reads please. I just reread your iso and much of it reads like you just asking questions and not actually pursuing anything and now your take on Moon, Dann looks like more hedging and why are you only focusing on a single post of mine, which neither yours or Una’s take which you describe as “nitpicky” isn’t even accurate.

I think this could possibly be scum!Aisa here since town!Aisa seems to try hard to solve, has better defined opinions on things and this me v Una thing just reads to me like out of left field.
Ooh exciting, how much to push back?

I think that if you click around you'll see that there is a range to my town game:
Mini Normal (this is the game you linked)
C9++ (my second-most recently completed game)

Also the scum game you linked, for reference:
Radiology

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking at, but I'd guess maybe the C9++ game is a bit closer to my play here? You've said that people are differently invested in different games and I think some of this is going on for me.

I just lost in the Mini Normal you linked and I’m not very happy with the way I let myself get emotionally swept up there. I told myself I would hang back a bit here and be more careful about throwing reads out left and right. My two "well defined" page 1 townreads that game? Both scum. The jokes I crack? There were are lot more of them than usual, partly because I wasn't sure how else I was going to handle talking to Firebringer who made 70 posts in like 12 hours.

Reads in next post.

I feel more confident that Elements is town. It’s still not a super high confidence read (maybe 85% ish where the baseline of someone being town is 75%). I’m making a judgment call that what she’s saying about having energy and wanting to solve is true - her posting pattern seems consistent with that so far.

From the meta research I did at some point I do think her town and scum games are similar, but town!her is maybe a bit more chill and vibey, scum!her is a bit more… curt and focused on pushing through the agenda she wants? This is a read that is really dangerous to voice because she now knows exactly how to pocket me if she wants to... if she didn't already.

I also think I might townlean JunkoChan, basically because of this:

Wait, what?

> Una is at E-1
> Mafia sees it and doesn't hammer

How do these two facts imply Una is town?
if one scum partner hammers town he just tree stumps himself

in this setup they benefit a lot from ending this phase early
Huh, I actually hadn't considered that but yes, that's something scum can do.

So
only put people at E-1 if you're ok with them dying
. I will side-eye you if you do it too early
In post 162, JunkoChan wrote:Una is probably not scum, because 1 mafia could have hammered?

unless they were both arlready in there :?:
I finally see what you mean. (We're considering a hypothetical in which Una was at E-1 for longer than 10 minutes.) You mean the possibilities are
> 0-1 scum on Una's wagon - in which case, why did it not get hammered?
> 2 scum on Una's wagon - in which case, Una is town.

The issue is you're not accounting for the fact Una's wagon could have failed to get hammered
because she is scum
.
Junko probably town for doing hammer math. I don't think she fakes or gives it out for free as scum because she seems like she'd enjoy low effort hammery routes to winning imo

Having slept on it, I think I might townlean Nona as well. I happen to have done a little meta research of my own. She was scum in One Choice and I think that she seems less concerned about optics, and a bit more spontaneous and aggressive here. Caveats are that 1. I don't think she would find it too hard to come across as more aggressive if she tried to, 2. One Choice was a weird setup so that probably influences things.

I also think Nona's activity patterns and timestamps seem fairly towny?

Everyone else is still a question mark to me. Sometimes some posts give me town pings, but I haven't thought about those slots much yet and I'd rather not jump to conclusions.

For example, I really really want to townread Moonview off vibes, but I'm not sure their posts would be extremely difficult to fake.

I can't make up my mind about what Dann not hammering Una means, so I'm just going to ignore that. I don't agree with Dann's push on Moon (I think the push is weird, not you, Dann! You seem nice :3). I don't know Dann very well, but it sounds like multiple people here think they are a competent scum player who could fake what they have done so far, in which case townreading them seems like a mistake?

You were gone and, especially in the early phase, I like a back-and-forth with somebody over posting and hoping they'll read it later.

I'm not particularly obsessed with your read on me, I just noticed I was left off and, if we were scum together, that would be an issue for me, but since we're not, it's only interesting

As for my feel on you I think a lot of your posts have a hedging kind of feel and it's tickling my spidey-sense. Not that I never hedge. I mean I do sometimes, but not always, and certainly not about anything important. Usually.

Hedging generally equals not taking a position

Not taking a position feels to other players like waiting to see which way the wind blows

Which is not in and of itself scummy but it certainly carries the look and connotation of not being not scummy

Dann is in my “think about this slot later” bin, but yes, I dislike his push on you, particularly the part when he thinks you are Ydrasse because I thought it was fairly plain that you were not Ydrasse.
Funnily the part of his push I like most is the point about the timing of your fluff posting.

I don’t think I’m scared of reversing strong reads, so I don’t get this site’s general fondness for scumreading hedginess

Need to catch up but that wagon is horrible. That slot is really obvtown.

Elements is also town. These two players should never be wagoned.

Pavowski, Moon is probably still Ydrasse but even if she isn’t, what is scum!Moon’s possible motive for claiming to lie about that? How does that further some kind of scum agenda in your mind? I think the problem might have been the vaguely Ydrasse account name and like a lot of inertia
