I wouldn't say I town read owen. I will say though, I was surprised last night in the kingsguard how hard he advocated for overthrowing the monarchy. I definitely feel like owen and johnny do not know each others' alignments because of that. I think if Johnny flipped green, I'd be more open to an owen yeet. However, if Johnny flips red, I'd probably consider owen fairly likely town.

dwlee shows up with their first post in the pt calling out rhae for being melodramatic and stuff, she immediately jumps on them and says that they're also out to get her and ruin her fun. dwlee then kinda backs off like whoa ive barely even talked to you don't include me in that, and she says she will anyway

reading closer, the one part that feels like it could be theatre actually is where rhae says something like, give me reasons why you're ruining my fun or ill lim you, ive already telepathically convinced people in thread to vote you (i think dwlee had a bunch of votes already at this point)

im less convinced now actually, those two posts are pretty over the top. its just hard to judge bc she seems like she's always over the top so

i thought a lot of both his d1 and d2 felt more performative than natural, and the places where he chose to focus his attention seemed motivated to me, by something other than just normal townplay. there's specifics but i kinda want to reread (and catch up on council pt, haven't read that yet) to see if i still feel the same before going into it too much

if you and GL do really hard townread him ill take that into account, its possible i tunneled since i didn't have any direct investment in the game or anyone to challenge my reads (altho tbh i find my reads are usually better from that position)

I wouldn't say "likely" scum but I think she's a decent candidate for scum that I may be overlooking, and specifically more what I like about that read is less that I think it's necessarily 100% accurate but more that I think the process makes sense. Dann has a working Theory of the Game ("LLD was the scum pick for King") and then pulled out an interesting point on Titus 769 being a soft townread/push for LLD King with plausible deniability. Dann didn't call this out but if I'm running with that theory it's also interesting Rhae had

as her third pick for King in 1241, despite a fight between Titus and Rhae earlier in the game and Titus being one of Rhae's only main expressed scumreads (793, 969)

Mostly it just feels like a nuanced and novel take on the game that doesn't strike me as disingenuous or agenda-based, gives me the good solvey town!Dann feels

also, as an aside, this is not a super robust or strong meta point but I feel like my general meta vibe of Titus is that as town she is a lot more assertive and confrontational, prone to tunnels with frequent spots of moon logic. When she's scum she's more diplomatic and reserved, flying a bit more under the radar, and almost more reasonable than she is as town. Specifically I think games that give me this impression are HDP where she was town and relentlessly suspecting/pushing me the whole game, vs Situation Room where she was scum and chill, laid back, agreeable and I actually mistakenly townread her for that during most of the game until she got kind of POE'd out. Her play this game is starting to feel more and more like the latter to me.

Fairish. I'm not invested so I can't be assertive. I hate the whole reasonable as scum argument. I just don't care until endgame because hard trying gets me limmed when I'm right.

i just think it feels like furtive is playing dumb in this interaction, to play up the "town confused why nobody else is seeing what he's seeing" vibe

i think he's smarter than this and as town would be more likely to take the next step of actually thinking about why nobody else seems to agree with him that firebringer is scumclaiming instead of being stubborn and waiting for someone to explain it to him so that he can have a ~progression~

at the time, furtive felt like the most surprising to me that there wasn't a wagon there, so it seemed like the most interesting place to try to start one. after reading more idk if that assessment was accurate. might prefer titus
