Neither of those flips were unexpected by the time they happened, they weren't close run things.
From my perspective her push post Cakez flip was Irrel, who I think is town and her push post Ari was me.
If MariaR/furtive is a T/T pair do my votes really look bad? I feel like that if I equalized the wagons it wasn't inevitable what would happen.

-k but even if scum ydrasse anticipated that, i doubt she's going to draft up a post about her post flip thoughts. It's most likely she spontaneously came up with those thoughts after seeing the flip and I think that attitude comes from town more often than not

I think you are mainly talking about the Cakez flip, in which case why not? It’s reasonable for scum to start thinking about what they’re going to say once their partner flips before it happens (I agree that actually drafting the posts is unlikely but don’t think it’s beyond Ydrasse to put them together on the spot).
The argument was about how my vote moved not just that it had no explanation - if MariaR/furtive is T/T does that hold? I believe not.

btw i did reread where ari started pushing me. and it def was after there was significant pressure on norwee and GL had made it clear that was the lim he wanted

i don't think it's impossible that ari would want to focus on distancing there by trying to push a pair that has scum in it but i also don't think it's the most likely explanation? there were only 4 votes on them and that seems a little early to be heading into antispew. i think the sudden turn onto me makes more sense if she's trying to get a town pairing eliminated

for further context it was also before shirou made the case on maria and there were a couple votes on baltar/owen

kind of liking baltar around the pages 27-29 or so. he wasn't paired and wasn't making a big deal out of it. although, of course, with unpaired team mates it does make sense to be holding your own. still, too relaxed, pointing things out, scumhunting, solving. not a bad look.

And like that seems like a read that you would probably sit on for a bit this early in the game to see how things develop rather than just throw it out there and let potential fire!scum know you're noticing a content difference.

I.e. I'm not sure it feels real to me.

I think there's a nonzero chance I'm the old maid here, so I wanted to put my reads out there. I also missed a lot when I was out today, so figure I need to give people some insight into my reads so they have some way to read me in case I do stick around.

from what I remember, enchant is hard to read, but at least tries to win as both alignments. I think as scum, he probably doesn't give up as quick cuz the buddies are there for support. As town, maybe there's genuine frustration. But yea, I don't typically like making reads based off ATE because it's always hard to tell. I thought in this situation it's more town than NAI.

I saw it as a post that's designed to try to get picked out of sympathy

with a possible side benefit of anti-spew if it becomes clear he is going to be left out. contrast with VPB trying to give reads/directions if he's limmed

Defeatist attitude is unattractive though so can't hold it against midway if he goes the other way.
