A lot less actually. It started feeling like Cephrir felt like he had no backup, and I thought it might be that his teammates were just absent or didn’t care. As more people chimed in though, I figured that could only be true if the team was exactly Cephrir, Brickwall, and NM. I did have some suspicion on Brickwall but my read hinged on the response they provided. Not enough people make sense as a partner.

I've read through alchemist ISO and it isn't as townie as I remembered. The humblebrag on the scummie nomination in #222 is something I've got in the back of my mind. I think there is a decent chance they're partners. T3's reads have been a bit all over the place. I get it, day 1 is hard, but he's not a noob. His progression on alchemist for example just doesn't make sense only for him to not vote him, unless they're scum together and T3 doesn't want to vote his partner. Alchemist also replied to eiralox's post of T3's messy reads and didn't actually acknowledge this inconsistency.

Yeah, there was a certain sense of hopelessness(?) in his posts. Less “salty” and more “why bother?” Not to say that he wasn’t trying, just that it seemed he felt defeated already.

#1 Instead of waiting until the last second to claim, potentially causing a flash wagon on T3, you can claim now, alchemist.

#2 If NM and alchemist are not aligned I expect there to be more fear about getting hammered before having a chance to claim.

#3 I'm glad to see others are reevaluating alchemist and finding similarly that his ISO doesn't hold up on a reread. The main thing I have to say here is that I also think everyone who is not scum reading CSF should reevaluate their stance on her. I believe her slot has scum told repeatedly throughout D1 and she is my preferred choice for a D2 lim even if alchemist were to somehow flip Town. If you disagree I request that she at least be veto from any Town cores and that you seriously consider the potential repercussions of bringing her slot to endgame.

#4 I've been giving the thread a chance to breathe and slowly writing up a WoT explaining all of my reads. If I don't finish it before the day ends then the gist of it is that alchemist, CSF and NM are +scum and every single other player is +Town. Alchemist and CSF don't hold up on a reread and NM did the Luca Blight tell (536, 681.)

If you were a real TPR and/or not aligned with NM I expect you to have more fear about being hammered before getting a chance to claim.

The fact that we have 3 days left is precisely why you should claim now: the day is wrapping up and we still have a little bit of time left for discussing the implications of your claim. Waiting now means there will be an opportunity for you to create panic by claiming at a time when Town is forced to reconsider under time pressure.

I'm waiting for your claim, alchemist. Acknowledging implications of NM being in the game and then NOT actually treating e-2 as e-1 is a goof up IMO. I think being reluctant to claim with the timer where it's at isn't a goof up; I think that's deliberate on your part. If you claimed now then everyone would get a chance to think about it, if you wait until later then that won't be the case. I feel like you understand this.
