That it was so close to working out and yet seems to have faded away seems suspicious to me, don't like it at all.

The vote on Skygazer isn't great either given that wagon has sort of popped up out of nowhere.

VOTE: NJAC
That vote isn't happening today. What do you think about venmar though?
Looks townie to me so far. Solid independent contributions, helpful to town thus far.

I'm inherently suspicious of fairly late-day wagons that haven't been floated for much of the day when other, viable options are suddenly cast aside even though there's still little to indicate they are town.

I'll admit I've probably not read this game as closely as some others so I could have missed some vital exchanges but I just don't feel like it was being seen as a likely elimination until relatively recently? Hu/NJAC seemed like the closest we were to consolidating on one of two options once the heat on CKD faded away post-claim.

Given there was noted reluctance to pushing NJAC over the line, without there ever necessarily being a strong defence of them, I still don't really get why this wagon sort of just fell by the wayside, not seeing anything the slot has done to look more townie. People noted at the time there was a scummy feel to the inability for us to mount that final push.

This was the worst danger Skygazer really seemed to face early on in terms of vote counts. Wagon then faded away and has only come back more recently. I don't think the slot's necessarily done much impressive and in isolation I wouldn't lose much sleep over voting them out based on play alone, but not keen how that wagon has formed at the expense of other slots who looked primed for a lim.

Andante, do you not think this vote looks terrible? It was opportunistic at the time, and the reasoning is quite bad - I feel like your push of me is frustrating and jumps the gun hugely but I'm trying to think rationally and not just scumreading you for it. This is one of the few cases where I think you could argue someone is using your playstyle as justification for the vote, and bad logic doesn't automatically mean scum because scum often work hard to ensure their logic seems solid above all else, it's a lazy and opportunistic vote at its core.

I'm trying to understand this late push on me, I don't find it particularly town motivated. But you are right, maybe is just OMGUS, because I had that slot leaning town.

It's just that the reasons for his case on me don't seem genuine.

The push on me was originally motivated for my lack of participation, AFAICT. Malcolm says my posts haven't improved, but if the push was originally for the lack of participation and my participation improved, then it's not clear what have not improved. He apparently doesn't like that the wagon on me dissolved, and he seems to try to divert attention from the wagon on Skygazer.

Did he vote you for lack of participation tho. I don't think he did, maybe he disliked them all along

Okay, I see your point. I don't remember that Malcolm expressed before some particular reasons for voting me, but I must check.

I'm already voting Skygazer, BTW.

PEDIT: That's another reason to suspect him, he didn't ask me anything. He just voted me and expressed his "reasons". I was just pointing that he could be scum.

PEDIT2: This is in response to Ceph.

Cephrir's posts on this page are actually... good? Not sure what to make of it now tbh
