Using a commuter, unless you feel in dire threat, only serves to disrupt roles. It's also not verifiable that the commute existed. It's absolutely negative utility, even if you noticed not to target you. Miller etc claims are due post 1 for this reason. The play is just completely backwards for the current meta of the site.

Can't help but notice nearly no claims, but lots of posts.

Because it's the right move. If we have something to say, we have something to say.

If someone has a role, they could crumb it in case anyone needs to see it. No need to mass claim. You should know there's an obvious way to do it without claiming. Fire even revealed it in a way.

No it's not the right move. Consider what we know of the setup:

1.) Scum may have their own roles, and are at least implied to have factional powers.
2.) Town power is subject to being assigned to dead or scum slots, and the odds that this happens increases with every town death, meaning our power level will only decrease.
3.) Supposedly there are lovers, which is huge NU for us.

The way to account for this is to mass claim what we know. The roles are randomized so this provides Scum no help with planning (apart from if this lover claim is legit). Having a growing view of what's actually in play does help. And it also forces scum to belly up to the table and make claims and fake results and then be forced to explain themselves. The more scum have to post a bunch of made up shit, the easier for us to find them.

You know all the reasons why claiming is correct and have enough experience with Cerb and I to know what we can leverage from it, and you are intentionally trying to give people excuses not to do it. It doesn't seem to come from any town mindset that I can think of.

Sometimes I focus on one thing at a time and it takes a bit to catch up on the bigger picture
I think I agree that Ircher is towny

I just have a very strong negative reaction to 'we're Masons claiming very preemptively, no actually we're Lovers, and also I drew the other Lover so it can't be confirmed by anyone else'
Like kuribo acknowledges that this is unlikely to happen and yet me questioning it is unreasonable and makes me scum
