Ydra is saying more incidental than strategic but I think every player except Koba likes to say their toxcicity is incidental because strategic admits to malice. and I also just think Ydra is nicer than I am in terms of these things. I think it's both. I think he funnels it.

you picked the two lowest impact players in the game, mena after day 1 where mena only spoke through his team and ythan after day 2 when Ythan was more or less still checked out of the game.
I would never neighbour either of these people Ythan's motivation problems don't just go away when you do this (it seems like a pocket attempt if I see reasoning) and Mena was so far behind what would you have to talk about?

If he's scum, we've lost anyway, basically. So it's overall pro town to keep the slot. It's just mech.

Specifically, lld, I feel like the scum team are doing exactly what you are saying: looking for an easy lim. So...why wouldn't it worry you (or anyone) that suddenly the thread consensus is Bella's weirdly scummy? Like that didn't seem to be the vibe of the thread day one or two, but suddenly we have you, alisae, menna, andante slot, datisi, I think still ythan?

If I were scum and had the vig, the extra shot isn't actually relevant (in the current gamestate). The reason it would be bad play (if you were that certain I was scum) is that town would be decreasing the chances of finding scum today (if leaving me alive) vs. tomorrow (if limming me, and then nolim to restore parity).
That's with no extra information of course (just a hypothetical setup where there are 3 Mafia, one having a one-shot vig, and 5 Townies). But I'm not going to speculate on what extra info we might have until massclaim finishes.
Since I'm town, limming me is just game over, whereas leaving me alive both improves our chances of hitting scum today (from 0 to 3/7) and gives us an out if we mislim. Our overall EV in the hypothetical no info setup would still be small (1/7) but obviously that's better than 0 (it's also quite a bit better than if I were just an IC with no vig, which is 1/35).
