Okay..time to update this game. I used this mostly as notes for myself, when I go back to reread. But if there is something here you want me to expound upon let me know.

I left off, I caught Elements in a direct lie. When caught she state she was trying to get thing moving, but didnt clarify when we were supposed to take her seriously. All around this is super scummy. My last post was 168, page 7 (we are now on 12). Further more she used a vague term like "it felt flat" when explaining why something was scummy. I just out of a game where scum tried to say I was scummy because, "my scum hunting was inorganic". Also vague and he couldnt explain or give me a examples of what inorganic was. I made fun of this for pages to come, he eventually night killed me just to get me out of his hair (he said I was smug..heheh). Vague explanations are classic scum moves. At any rate, I expect to be killed here sooner than later.

169, Elements asks if I was going to meta her (or what?. I will relax, I have been gone.
170, Elements DOES explain they town read people when they have more energy. At the time I was one of the top posters, so this is bullshit. This whole post is kind of lame and is either scummy, or lacks the ability to think through scum hunting technics.
173/174, Elements states STD hasnt said much in the game (right after they posted), STD immediately states his worry that he usually think Elements is scum (when town) early.
178, Merlyn misread my comment. Asks me about meta. I said it was pointless NOW. Meaning before you can compare and contrast someone's actions. At that point in the game (page 2?) people were talking meta. it was indeed pointless. Elements does a thing that seemed scummy that could easily be looked up. Not pointless. THATS I said, "put a pin in it for now". I assume this was just a misread any nothing else.

Simple: I think he's the most likely to be scum, so I voted for him. I did a bit of a meta dive on nips as well and it didn't do much to alleviate my concerns about his slot. Maybe if I really like his response to 290 I'll reconsider rejoining the Elements wagon or joining the bristar wagon but for now this is where I stay, and the people unvoting right now are more than welcome to join me.

I agree with this...some. I mean people can ask questions and sort of file it away for later. I ask questions all the time that I dont reply back with the follow up for multiple reasons...in this case I can see where you are coming from. that being said...the "why" question to DGB, wasnt a bad one. when she didnt answer he seemed to acknowledge it, but you are right he didnt pursue. Both of the "what is wrong with X" type questions...arent bad ones. for example, I found it interesting that NONE of the people on the Bris wagon at the time, answered the question (seriously). That being said, you are right, he didnt follow up.

I do believe that town can be readable even immediately

If everyone didnt play day 1 then day 2 would be day 1 basically. town of salem does this cause they dont have much dayplay. But in forum mafia the game's played thru conversations not night actions. Plus you can go back and read this day later when half of the game's alignments are known which can be useful. So thats why skipping the first day is disadvantageous

Anyways I just see him posting nothing. The most he's done so far is ask DGB a question then note that he never got a response, but then didn't do anything about that. Everything else just seems like posturing to me, particularly the contrast between him painting himself as somebody who doesn't care in 66 and 236 but then obviously caring showing himself to care about optics in 239.

I did a bit of a meta dive on him since posting 285 and I didn't really find anything to tell me that this is his town game. He even says in the scum PT of mini normal 2299 that his "playstyle changes drastically" (link), and I am inclined to believe that we're seeing the scum playstyle right now.

I think Emperor is notable because he's posted a lot and has felt decently engaged yet at the same time hasnt really made much headway with reads.

This is the townest i've ever read Elements. i did skim the scum game they linked and there's a d1 contrast, they're being measured even when Frog starts an early 1v1 and they have a post where they want to be very clear about their reads. IDK i would just be really surprissed if Ele goes from careful scum play to intentionally posting bogus things then admitting to posting bogus things. town that thinks they're helping through questionable method is more believable
