1. its kind of a like a magnum opus statement piece that perfectly sums up all of my thoughts and beliefs about this game (both this specific one and of mafia in general)
2. like my avatar suggests im of the opinion that you have to take a little gambles if youre to put a winning coal together and also hes a blank enough slate that i can project all my hopes and expectations onto him and its not like im taking a strong political stance about bulge having to be in the coal i was just whipping out my moldy piece of readslist

Hellbooks do you subscribe to the paradigm that like an atom mafia games are mostly void with powerful moments of alignment polarization or the paradigm that every post is a tiny bit scummy like this post or a tiny bit towny like the one above this one

answering this question is probably one of the most interesting, if not only interesting task, i have ever been assigned. you might refer to a facetious post i made earlier this game noting that some people are capable of saying one shiningly town thing whereas i make incremental and effortful progress battling out of the fog of distrust because of my inherent sliminess and evilness. but what i actually think is that when it comes to someone's Art of Posting like when you go back and iso someone, scum is always gonna have a lot of town posts in there.its not like the evil is goign to leak into every post. and i also do think that cases are often people trying to assemble a lot of only mildly convincing things, or people (consciously or subconsicoculy) working backwards from a conclusion and finding posts that fit the narrative. usually a single point of "see this one thing that this person did was so scum" will be more convincing to me. on the other hand maybe when it comes to trying to find interactions between people is when one might succeed in picking up on an accumulation of little things. so i dont think theres one simple answer to this nor it is it like a firm binary. but i suppose i find the narrative of atom mafia more compelling and true to experience

if hes lhf town and we bounce out a scum thats like picking up a win and dealing with the issue

and if hes like scum - it only really matters if we had a winning coalition before putting him in and i dont know how likely that is?

If you could explain the tris town read to me I would very much appreciate it. The only reasoning I personally have for it is that I feel like the threadspew thing is kinda true and so I want to town bin it to just not think about it anymore but I think the closest thing I got to a coherent explanation was that tris has more trouble being present and "vibing" as scum and I would really like if someone could give me a citation for that claim since I've never experienced scumtris. But secondly I kind of at the time felt like the vibing was kind of tentative and muted compared to a previous tris town experience and more to the point she's basically been not present at all for the second half of this game and I don't think I could tell you off hand a single thing she thinks without looking at her iso so I worry that if she's not thread spewed I don't really have a lot of reason for why she's town at all.

If you want to like break that down for me so I can feel better about the read I would appreciate it.

i think skitter is the only player here who actually has actually seen scum me, and that was a long time ago, so its kind of fascinating to see everyone townread me like this. but, at the same time, they might be right. i could believe that people see through me enough to construct a model of scum tris. the thing is, i literrally don't know what scum tris looks like in this day and age. i really wanna meet her some day. i kinda think she might outperform expectations, but i should stop typing more before this post caves in on itself

I think I believe ur read is real and town because this is honestly kinda what my scumgame looks like that you've seen and I think ur read on me like "bruh this can easily be scum sheep" makes immense sense based on how scarfolk went or whatever

(I openly agreed with u that the early townreads on me were bad lol)

i liked the timing of when she said i was town, but that was only the 2/3 townpoint. and then my guess of what a scum hellbooks does in this game is she would have more of a presence. and then there was the recent flurry of posts that were freeflowing and also contained thoughts about the game that seemed to come forth naturally like she didnt have to cook them up in the scum idea factory. and it felt like i was just seeing that she was town all of a sudden.
